I've been looking for a bag to take with me on flights as my personal item - something with a lot of pockets for organization. I've had my eye on the Lo & Sons OMG bag but I really don't want to spend so much.
It fits all of my criteria (interior and exterior pockets, good size, a slip to go over my carry-on suitcase handle), except it doesn't have a cross-body strap. I really prefer this option when I travel so the bag isn't sliding down my arm.
Is there any way I could have a strap added to the bag? I don't see a place on the bag for the metal rings, but is that something a seamstress could do?
I know that the easy solution is to find a different bag, but I've been looking for a while and this is the first one I've really liked.

Hmm, I suppose you could have a strap added, but I'm not sure it would hold up with use as connection points should be reinforced... One thing you could maybe do is take a removable strap from another bag and see if you can hook it on the existing handle connectors diagonally. This might work and allow you to convert it to a cross-body when needed. What do you think?
I have a LV wristlet that I bought a crossbody strap for on etsy. Mine already had the metal ring on each side for the strap (I just removed the wristlet strap).
From the looks of the bag it doesn't look like it would be super hard for a seamstress could sew some rings with reinforcement underneath zipper area and the you attach the strap you want.
