Oh man, when I can schedule a stop to the right store, I get this local, non-homogenized whole milk that is amazing. There is the massive chunk of cream that is practically butter that you have to stab through at the top of the jug when you first buy it so it will even pour. Ooh, and they sell this chocolaty caffeinated version that's amazing.
You are supposed to shake it every time you use it so that gets incorporated. No stabbing required.
The lack of full fat Greek yogurt options pushed me to get a yogurt maker. That's how serious I am about my full fat dairy.
Also, this made me laugh. Looking at you skim milk drinkers!
The stabbing is just so I can pour out enough so that it is shakeable. There is no no room for movement in that jug!
I'm drinking 2% because my OB wants me to get more calories for baby. Before being pregnant I drank skim.... we'll see where I end up when it's all said & done.
Is he otherwise healthy? Is he drinking it by the gallon-ful daily? If the answers are yes (1) and no (2), then he is an adult.
Yes he's otherwise healthy and he really only has it with cereal, but I still think little things add up. He now doesn't mind the 2% so I'll just keep buying that.
I really have not a fucking nice thing to say about any of this.
The tamest thing I could say is that if the shoe was on the other foot, we'd be calling on you to DTMFA and find you a spouse who isn't a nitpicky asshole who is so terrified of you getting fat that he can't trust you to enjoy a goddamned bowl of cereal without dictating his life choices.

Uh, first of all, I usually buy healthy foods for overall health, not just weight. DH is more than glad that I do that and has said so.
Well thank God you are there to save him from the dangers of full fat milk. I'm glad to hear he's appreciative of your micromanaging infantilizing.
I want to know why finding whole milk Greek yogurt is like looking for a unicorn. Out of an entire giant aisle of Greek yogurt, my grocery store carries only one brand that isn't reduced or 0% fat. Reduced/no fat Greek yogurt (and sour cream and ricotta and cheese) taste like cardboard compared to the real thing.
Yessssss!!!!! I am always trying to find whole milk greek yogurt for my DS and DD. Its impossible. My DS is skinny and needs all the fat. Its so frustrating.
Also, cooking with whole milk is everything! My homemade mac and cheese is so much better now that I use whole milk instead of 2%.
Cabot and Stoneyfield both make full fat Greek yogurt. Stoneyfield even has a grass-fed version now.

Look, IDGAF what kind of milk you're drinking but if you're eating Greek yogurt that isn't Fage, you're doing it wrong. You have a 46% higher chance of having a terrible snack.
Fage is the best tasting Greek yogurt I've ever had. I just can't find the full fat version very often, which pisses me off. So I make my own, which isn't the same. lol
And jut because someone has to say it, I feel sorry for Tillie's husband. Or really, say it again, since my girl imobviouslystaying said it with much more flare and gusto.

Seriously! I bought Chobani this week because it was the first time I saw their full-fat yogurt and it was $1 cheaper than Fage. I had it last night after I posted about Chobani full-fat yogurt, but it's gross! Fage is so much better.

As I recall he is pretty mean to her so I think this is a tit for tat type of thing.

Yeah, I was gonna say, is anyone surprised at yet another unhealthy (no pun intended) aspect of tillie's marriage?

I know they make it. It's just almost impossible for me to find. Even if the store carries it, half the time they're out.
This whole thread makes me so sad. I became lactose intolerant last year and I miss milk soooooooooooo much. I used to be a huge milk drinker and it makes me cry just thinking about drinking a glass of delicious milk

Can you find greek gods yogurt near you? It has the most fat and calories out of all the greek yogurt and the honey is amazingly delicious.

Greek Gods is the only full fat Greek yogurt my grocery store carries (and even then the two closest stores don't carry it, so I have to drive an extra 20 minutes).
They carry Cabot, Stonyfield, Fage, and Chobani, but not the full fat varieties. I don't understand why not.

Lactaid milk has come a looooooooooooooong way since I started drinking it. I drink it now, and have zero lactose intolerance issues with it.

All the stuff I've tried is a weird consistency. And I tried getting the drops to put it in the milk we get delivered and it still caused me issues
