Did anyone else see this this morning? The Disney website it now showing them as appearing in the Muppets Courtyard...and as that name just became official, it doesn't look like this is something old that was accidentally reposted.
Maybe they're going to do something on a much, much smaller scale this year.
Before it did not require a special ticket. It was just all of the main street part (I forget the name) at HS. You just walk around in a massively packed crowd.
I hope it's true. But the pic I saw suggested that it's going to be a special ticket.
Eta: I misread it earlier. Maybe it'll be included.
But if Disney can find a way to monotize it, they will!
Also, the muppet courtyard isn't very roomy! That could be a nightmare.
I love that area. LOVE it.
This is one of the extras I would gladly pay for. If the whole thing was a dessert party and they only let like 300 people in at a time and you got like an hour - hour and a half slot.
I actually got a call back from DVC regarding the letter I sent and they were POSITIVE that resort fees and EMHs were not going to be charged for at this time.... but we shall see.

I feel like they would almost HAVE to charge for that area. Otherwise it would be insanity.
Unless the rumor that has been going around that the new Toy Story land is the outside of Andy's Street and it will line up with where SoA were and so it will be in that area and this is just a place holder.
You are right, there is no way to control crowd flow in that tiny little area . FP plus reservations maybe?
I can't imagine how they would manage crowds in that area. Even if it was a dinner or dessert experience that is an additional fee, it is still a pretty small area.
We went to one of the special dinner experiences on the second to the last night of the Osborne Family Lights, and we were given these as keepsakes. Now we will always have our own Osborne Family Lights...even if ours aren't much of a spectacle. lol
The page about the Osborne Lights isn't at that link anymore. If you click through to see what is going on for the holidays there is no mention of them.
