? about J.Crew sales/promos

Any J .Crew experts out there? I'd like to get another pair of the Martie pants for summer, but I don't want to pay full price. The other day they had 15% off but I passed because I wasn't sure how good of a discount that was. I thought I might be able to do better if I waited.   Do they ever give 30-40% off regular priced merchandise?  Are there any specific times of year when they do bigger/better discounts?  I know there are probably better discounts for sale merch - right now they are doing an extra % off sale stuff, but only one color of the Martie pants are on sale right now.   I think my best bet is going to be a discount on reg price stuff.

I think they do 25% off fairly often. I haven't seen above that for regular priced items lately. That seems to be reserved for the sale items.

They do promotions during roll out of new products a lot but not always. They just had one a few weeks ago, so the next sale might not be for a while. And I agree that 20-25% is about as good as it gets on full-price merchandise.
