I use touring plans. Rest/swim every afternoon. Good double stroller w/ recline & sun shades. Let the kids choose stuff, too, even if that means play at a fountain for a half an hour. Yes to rain gear. My kids have never been interested in wearing their dress up stuff but they do wear disney t shirts many days. They wear keens or crocs on their feet.

What time of the year are you going? I never brought fancy dresses for my girls to wear during the day since it was way too hot. I order rain ponchos on amazon for cheap and it is some of the best money spent! Also, since there is a lot of walking, I recommend a double (or 2 single) stroller.
We went last year when my daughters were 2 and 5. I brought princess dresses, but they didn't want to wear them - it was too hot. I had bought a few Disney princess sundresses at Kohls before our trip and those worked out great.
We went back to the hotel from about 2-5 pm to nap. We were all exhausted by then.
You are allowed to bring in food and drink, so pack a small cooler that fits in the bottom of the stroller with water bottles, juice boxes, etc. You'll save tons of money and have a drink right when you need it.
Thanks ladies. We are going next weekend. April 16th for 4 days. We are staying at the Art of Animation Resort. We have 2 daughters , 2 and 4. They really love Frozen.

Sunblock & lots of water.
This. Unless we are in a rush to get to something. I like to let DS have some time to explore at his own pace. The fountain near the baby center was magic to him when he was little. He also was in love with the Muppets Fountain in Muppet Courtyard & now he loves the jumping Fountains near Figment in Epcot.
Also I don't force him to go on anything he doesn't want to. He is petrified of Figment, so I don't even talk about it anymore. Same thing with Muppets. Funny because Star Tours, and BTMRR and Soarin are his favorites.
