I've been so busy at work lately that I haven't been able to check in as much.
But in doing well. Working both days this weekend. The organizing for the garage sale next weekend isn't going as planned but that's ok, I will get it done soon.

My sleep has been so jacked up this week, I was up super early today but I was also really productive - basically cranked out a bunch of stuff I should have done the last 2 nights but was too tired to do.
awick14 Good luck getting ready for the garage sale! Have any big items you're hoping to get rid of? I'm having one with my mom in a few weeks at her house, my parents are putting their house on the market soon so it's a good time to clear stuff out. Mostly small stuff though, we had 2 sales last summer and did really well with unloading some of the bigger stuff (although nothing major) I really need to use it as an opportunity to really go through stuff and let go.
HoneySpider- we have a few big things (4-5) but it's mostly smaller stuff. My FIL also has a few bigger things that he is bringing to our house to try and sell.
awick14 I hear you. We have been running out asses off at work. I'm so tired and sore by the end of the day.
My mom and I hit the stores this morning and we actually enjoyed ourselves. I bought stuff for H and I for vacation. One shirt I got H I don't think he will like but she was dead set that he will look great in it. It's not his style so we can just return it. I was able to get a nice sundress and top for myself from old navy. After shopping we picked up my nephew. My mom is bringing him over later to hang out with me. I might put on a movie and make dinner. I picked up a chicken from Sam's club so maybe I'll make quesadillas.
We need to have a garage sale! I have so many clothes I want to try getting money for before donating them.
We are heading back from the birthday party we had today. Stopped at Trader Joe's because why not since we're down here? We're apparently getting a similar store in our area, I can't wait! I love TJ's and have been wanting one closer so hopefully this place will be good
I jus took a 90 minute nap. Oh how I miss my daily two hour naps of days gone by. This is my first of any length in two weeks.
estrellita what's the name of the new similar store? I love TJ's as well. Ours is only 30 mins away but inconvenient, so I don't even go every month. I mostly buy junk there so this way is better I suppose.
amaranth it's called Fresh Thyme I think? Something like that. I looked it up and it seems really similar. The TJ's we stopped at is the closest and it's about 45-60 min away. So we have only been there twice now, the other time was before E was born
Mmmm so happy we stopped at TJ's. Just had a chicken tamale, corn salsa, and some cookie butter cookies! And H took E to the store so I'm sitting here with the Twins game on the TV (well, pre-game, not on for like a half hour yet haha) and no screaming.. I think I'm in heaven!!

My sister in law said she likes that store. She has one near her. Not sure how similar it actually is though.

Nice! From what I could tell they seemed similar, focused on organic/local type foods and things you wouldn't find in a typical grocery store. We don't have much like that around here. We have one co-op that is expensive (I'm sad that this could potentially put them out of business) and the organic sections at the grocery stores but that's about it. Used to be a World Market here like 10 years ago but otherwise it's mostly just typical stores. I'm excited for them to open!
My mom seems to be feeling better. She will be keeping G and we are going on our date day today. Trying to not get the tag along in laws to bother me. Not my number one choice but I don't want that to ruin the outlook on the day. We will still have separate cars and tickets in separate locations. DH and I are bound to have some alone time.
Plus, we had sex for the first time in 6 weeks. That also helps both mine and his moods.
Almost three hundred dollars later, they couldn't find anything wrong. He had an anti nausea shot, some pills to make his belly settle and some special food.
grover Ugh poor dog! We had to take one of our cats to the emergency vet when he was super sick and it cost so much for them to not find anything. It's so frustrating! Hope he feels better soon!
As I'm on call today I have been at home so far. I'm not sure if I'll even end up going into work.
But on the bright side, I have been so productive today.
I have cleaned out our entire spare room, I have put away things that needed to be put away and I have come up with 3 new boxes and miscellaneous stuff for our garage sale.
Now I am going through my closet and all the boxes of clothing that I have. 75% of it doesn't fit me and I've been keeping it just in case I lose weight. As I've had this clothing for 3-4 yrs and obviously I never have worn it, so I'm getting rid of it.
When I do lose weight I will treat myself to a new wardrobe. I have kept things that I really like but it was 2 wine boxes and 1 Rubbermaid bin. So far the 2 wine boxes have been paired down to 1/2 a wine box. And I'm now starting on the Rubbermaid.

awick14 I do the same thing with clothes, in the last 10 or so years I have been anywhere from a size 4 to a size 14. I have about 3 tubs of clothes in smaller sizes that I've been holding on to forever. I will never be a size 4 again, I need to just let go but it's so hard.

I am also getting rid of clothes I've been keeping for when I lose weight. We have a donation pick up Wednesday and we're going to be moving this summer so I figured there's no better time. But I agree, it is hard. I'm thinning out my bins but still hanging on to some things.
HoneySpider- it is defiantly hard to let them go. It makes me sad but it's time. And all the clothing is going to go to the dog rescue I help with. They are having a clothing sale as a fundraiser.

Ugh, I have a hard time giving up those smaller clothes too! I keep telling myself I WILL fit back into them. You know, I might not. It's been quite a while. I need to just get rid of things! I've been thinking about having a garage sale to attempt selling some of it before donating it but at the same time I kinda just want it all gone! I did go through stuff and I have a good amount to get rid of but it's taking up space!
