Work? Make night nurses appear out of thin air...I think I can! I think I can!
Personal? Focus on what I am grateful for every day...
Thought for the Week: I am not content....but it's what I'm been doing for the last several years and it pays the bills. I'd like to find a calling...something I LOVE to do and can't believe I get paid to so. After I have graduated from paying for daycare, I may explore that further, since a salary drop could be a part of a shift.

Work? 2 big projects: I have a grant that needs to be submitted tomorrow and I need to work on booklet design
Fitness/Health? Go to the gym 1 time
Personal? Try not to be stressed - I know that's general but I'm coming off a couple of weeks where I allowed myself to get caught up in stupid BS that unnecessarily stressed me out....I'm not a go with the flow person but I need to try and be a little more!
Thought for the Week: Are you content in your current job? If so, why? If no...why do you stay/what are your future plans? My FT job (TTH) yes, I just wish I made a normal salary doing it! It also can be a little isolating sometimes. I hope as we grow the organization both of those things get better. My PT job makes me sad sometimes, I never imagined going through all of the schooling and work that I did only to end up with a job making minimum wage but it's temporary and it's all extra money which is really nice so I can swallow my pride for a bit.

My main thing this week is eating better. But I've already kinda failed. Lol. I made some overnight oatmeal and it tasted TERRIBLE. I'm not sure if it was the Greek yogurt or not enough sweetener or what. H tried some and said it was gross too lol. I put it back in the fridge and might try adding sugar but that's just going to defeat the purpose.. oh well! I think I'll try a different recipe and skip the yogurt before I totally give up though!
My other thing is just getting things done. H and I had a talk last night and one of the things I want to do is no computer or TV until E goes to bed. I think trying this will help us get more done (dishes, laundry, general cleaning). Hoping we can stick to it as much as possible!
For the thought of the week: yes! I wasn't before, which is why I went for this job. I'm much happier now! However eventually I want to move so I don't plan on staying forever. Not sure when that will happen though!
Personal/health/fitness: keep my emotions in check, and keep up with my fitness routine.
Thought for the week: I do enjoy my job but I would like to change some aspects of it. I want to specialize in babies/children. But the schooling for it is $$$ and I don't know if we will ever be able to afford it.

I used to hire what you do for a major children's facility in town. They did such neat work! Of course YOU do neat work where you are at....it was just neat to hear the pediatric stories.

The main problem with switching into the other career (same company) is not only the money but they only work out of the children's hospital in a BIG city that I'm not overly fond of. Dh would be ok moving there but I'm not so sure if I would be. Lol
I did run into a couple of the guys (that work the job I want.) on Saturday and I got to meet there patients (twins girls, a month or so old.) it was so neat to see them.
Work: my usual partner is going away so I just want to get through the week.
Personal: i need to go through my summer clothes this week so I can wash it next week for vacation. Usually I'm packed already but I haven't even started.
Health: I need to work on my mental health. I've been feeling really down lately. I need to get back into working out. I start then lose interest. Diet wise, I haven't been doing too bad.

Personal - I've been feeling a lot more stressed lately and I can't pinpoint exactly why (e.g. crying more easily). I'd like to focus on taking some time each day to decompress and try and recenter.
Thought for the week: Content? Yes. I have a great boss. The work is good. I love my coworkers. I have flexibility to take time off and work at home when I need to it, and it pays the bills. Am I excited about what I'm doing though? Not every day. So in that sense it doesn't check every box. But I think for this season of life, this is where I should be. I worry that running off looking for a role that would check that last box would leave me empty in some of the others which are really important right now.
wanderingenough Sorry about the stress I haven't looked into these in forever...but I know they have quick meditation apps and such for smart phones...like 5 minutes quick. That might be something helpful. Stress sucks
