We are actually looking at getting a shed for DH to use as an office. If the shed people would ever get back to DH (after his last question that they were going to look into), we would have already started the process. He has already talked to the air conditioner guy and the electrician, but that doesn't do much good if we don't have the building.
Oh, and I have seen the show a couple of times. Some of their stuff is too theme-y for me, which is saying a lot, since I am not opposed to themes as decorating inspiration.

Shed are huge in the UK and have been for generations. Every house on my block has one. We're going to get a new one, though it'll just be for bike storage.
I'm not sure what this is - is this just making swanking sheds for other than tool storage?
Pretty much. I have seen some used as a pool cabana and kept pretty simple, but some used as artist studios or guest houses that have been pretty elaborate. The ones on the TV show are pretty elaborate.
We're planning for DH's to be a nice office space with AC (duh, Florida)...something that fits in with the rest of our house and looks out on the courtyard.

I want a shed but there's no obvious place to put one in our yard
Yes, it's like fancy sheds.
Last night, they showed one where it was like the mom's personal movie getaway. It was so big, it alms of seemed like another house, and it took up the whole backyard.

I have not, but I'd love a shed to do my stained glass in, safe from the kid and dog. I'm sure DH would love one for his filmmaking too, even though all he really needs these days is his camera and laptop. :-) How do we get on this show again?

It was nice, but over the top.
I thought it could have been better, if the designer hadn't gone overboard with the theme. I am not a fan of sheds that look like barns, but it did work well for the upper lever viewing area. The guy did a better job on his shed.
The mom shed was actually a pretty small footprint. The height, all of the clutter inside and out, and the small yard made it seem big. I think it is the side yard of the house though, not the entire backyard.

Oh okay, the side yard makes sense. That would be crazy if it took it up the whole yard. I agree, she went overboard with the theme.
This makes me think of the 16 and Pregnant episode where the expecting parents were shopping for a shed to live in. They couldn't afford it so every once in a while they would go look at the one they wanted.
