"Being intimate" on Disney vacations

So we just got back from a great trip to Disneyland. Last night my BFF came over and we were talking about our trip. We had rented a 3 bedroom condo and she was asking me if I was happy with the location, how long of a walk was it, etc. I mentioned that "the main reason we wanted more space was so after the kids were sleeping, we could have sex in a private space" and she was like "WHAT! I'm always so exhausted at Disney. I've never had sex after a day at Disney. I can't even imagine." I told her this is why we always get a suite, we like to have extra space for adult time in the evening. They get a regular hotel room and put their daughter in the other bed.

So, here is my poll. Do you have sex after a day at Disney? Feel free to elaborate below, if you want, lol!

No...I have one girl in bed with me, he has the other. I wouldn't spend extra money for a suite just to have sex with DH either. It's only 5-6 nights.

I was at Disneyland last week. I walked 7 miles around that place and another 6 miles the next day at California Adventure. No way was I into sex after that.


...we also only got a hotel room with 2 queen beds that were filled with a 4 and 6 year old. So it's not like we would have done anything with them there to begin with. BUT if we had a separate room, I wouldn't have been in the mood. We got back to our room and crashed.

I have only went with a child one time but yes we had sex just about as often as we usually do (so maybe 2-3 times that week?). We don't really go all out in the parks though.

Nope! My trips to Disneyland are either with my mom or my female friends. Even when I was married there was no sex; too damn tired at the end of the day since we would spent 16-17 hours in the park.

We did the last time, but DD was asleep in the bathroom during a nap. We aren't all day park people anymore though.

Yes! We joke that luckily DD2 wasn't conceived there! It was about 2 weeks after our last trip lol

On our last trip, both our MK days were 16 hours. It was super fun, but I was exhausted when we got back to the hotel. Totally worth it, though.  We usually have sex once b/c I insist to DH that we have to have Disney sex.  It's usually fairly quick, though b/c we're too tired for anything else.

My mom had me conditioned early.  We used to drive up for day trips when I was a kid and would be on the road at 6am and at the park at 7:30am.  Gates opened at 8am and we would stay until Midnight.  When we stay on property we can get into Disneyland at 7am and we will stay in the park until 11pm or Midnight.

We are in Disney now. There is no chance in hell I have the energy to have sex after chasing a 2.5 year old and holding an 8 month old who doesn't want to be put down. I was also up nursing DD 5 times last night.

Before DS was born we went 3 times, and NEVER had sex. We were RD to parks close ( and then night time EMH) park hoppers though.

Now even when DS is taking a nap in the other room, NOPE. TOO TIRED. Disney wears us out.

I know SOME PEOPLE DO THOUGH... because my parents did... and 9 months later I was their " souvenir". PS The almost named me Minne.

I know someone who has conceived all 3 of her children on a Disney World vacation.  I have always been baffled by it.

H and I did but we were young, child-free, and full of energy.

Ha.. last time we went was when we were TTC (we skipped a month before that because of the trip, I figured if I wasn't pregnant yet I would fully enjoy the trip instead!) and it was FW while we were down there. We had our own room (with my parents and sister in the room next to us...) but yeah that wasn't happening. We are running pretty much ALL day and we were so exhausted we got back to the room, changed, and crashed SO fast, haha. So while I wouldn't have minded a "souvenir", there is no way I would have had the energy!

Even when we went to Disney pre-kid, we didn't have sex. I could barely walk back to the hotel and throw myself into bed. There was no way I could have managed the energy.
