Sunday randoms

My baby is 7!!!! She and her friends had a blast at her party yesterday. Her crush never came though, but I think she was having so much fun that she didn't even care. At one point she walked past me and whispered in my ear "I'm living the dream" which I though was hilarious. She's a goof sometimes.

XH has them today but we split the time since it's her actual bday. He's taking them to see the Jungle Book and then I'll get them after that, around 3ish. I'll probably take them to do the usual mani/pedis and then out to dinner to a place of her choice.

Quick jog this morning and then working for part of the day. I have to drive up to LA tonight and then tomorrow as well and I'm not looking forward to that. I really hope there's not a ton of traffic.

I'm having a leisurely morning with my daughter, we're doing some chores with the powerpuff girls on and have some target errands to do this afternoon.

Yesterday we did record store day and it was great fun. I always see this event as the official kickoff to outdoor activities season in MN. To wit, i got a sunburn (probably while waiting around outside the bounce house).

I am enjoying that it is finally, finally spring. I'm doing some work today and may go to yoga later.

Today is my STBX and my 14-year dating anniversary, and our 10-year wedding anniversary is later this week. So I'm a little down and expecting that to continue all week. I'm not regretting my decision, but thinking about ending such a significant portion of my adult life is a lot to think about.

My shihtzu weighs 20 lbs. omg. I'm pretty sure 3 pounds is fur. He needs a haircut so badly. I'll have to re-weigh him after I get his hair cut. Ah.

I miss doing yard work with late H. Not as fun to do by myself. Front yard is looking better and I'm sure neighbors appreciate it.

My mom and I attempted to put up new drapes. The front window has a custom drapery rod and it has pinch pleat drapes right now. They are such a pain to put up. The cats are all bothered because now the new drapes smell weird.
