My son was diagnosed with epilepsy at 20 months old. He is almost 6 now. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. I'm so sorry that happened.

I'm so sorry. Mom kudos for getting her taken care of and being a superstar. I'm shaky just reading it. Lots of vibes that it was an isolated incident and nothing either of you have to relive.

Yay for the positive update! I really hope this is a one off, but if it's not I know you will figure the best course of action. There has been a lot of advances in seizure managemt in the last couple of years including better VNS and nasal drugs.

I'm so sorry. My oldest (now 4) started having seizures upon waking when he was 5 months old. He's had both grand mal and petite mal seizures. It is terrifying to watch and feel hopeless. He was on two seizures medicines until about a year ago and has a recuse medicine just in case a seizure lasts more than 5 minutes. It's all very terrifying but over the years I've become more comfortable (not sure if that's the word I want to use but can't think of anything else) with it all but it's always on my mind. He's happy and thriving though. I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I'm not a regular over here but you are welcome to message me if you ever want to talk.
