Malta?

Anyone on here that is currently or has recently lived in Malta that has school aged kids? Looking for some tips on schools and places to live.

Apparently the time the Queen spent on Malta was the happiest in her life so hopefully it will work out that well for you too.

GilliC, loira, rupertpenny, hahaha! I just popped back to see if anyone had replied got all excited. Nope - just well wishes! Thank you.

It's a maybe for next year. DH should have a few trips there before/if we move. Weather is good and I love the proximity to Italy.

I do know there is an excellent English dentist that comes down once a month (?) to serve the Enlish expats. I can get the name if you'd like.

If my H ever gets his but in gear and gets his next certification, we may look at Malta ourselves.

I'm not helpful but it would be one of my dream places to live/retire. I have not been to Malta but I think it has some similarities with coastal Croatia. I don't know if I would want to live there all year round. A lot of the British expats I've heard of spend part of the year there. I've actually heard of someone's corporate boss who commuted from Malta to Manchester during the week for a few days of work.

I would settle for just visiting when I get the chance.
