I got nothing new. Taking bkb to the mall tonight to pick up her Ariel night gown since she survived her eye drops. Going to get my brows done too. Almost threw up during my work out this morning. I can't wait until my ob appointment next week so I can get some meds.

I am super bummed my first Norwex party canceled and hopes to reschedule later this summer. I was looking forward to it. I love this stuff.

I have hella bruises on my arms from pole last night and I am THRILLED. I can't wait for class on Sunday. whee!!

Found out yesterday that we have a ton more debt we actually need to pay down before building so that just extends our plan a bit. We are meeting with the LO that ran our finances on the 2nd so hopefully we can get some strategies or tips from the meeting.

Other than that just plugging along at work here. Its D's birthday. Not doing much tonight, but we are going to Chelan on Saturday for dinner.

Speaking of which, one of the houses we looked at and liked a few weeks ago just went for $165,000 (36%) OVER ASKING. I saw that this morning and told hubs and we both just started laughing. We are so fucked. We're never going to be able to move. I'm just glad we own our current place and can stay as long as we need to!

My parents are coming into town tonight. Passover is this weekend and they're here to celebrate with us! I'm excited.

minion, I think H and I decided that we are looking at 3-bedrooms, but can I see a link for real estate-porn sake? I would love to live in WS, but I think our budget will keep us just north of Seattle or closer to White Center.

That's a little far south, but that's good info to have in case our priorities change, which is always possible  I really want somewhere that is a short drive/long walk from a good grocery store, and there is a good pub or brewery within walking distance that is dog and kid friendly (so we can be regulars ).

These gorgeous days make it so hard to be at work!! And to be focused at work. Blar.

Happy hour tonight, then home to hang with my furry manimal. Tomorrow I get to see my fella. I'm definitely looking forward to that! Not sure what we're going to do yet. Hopefully his track meet gets over at a decent time.

In honor of hump day... I listened to an interesting podcast today about talking to your partner about sex. An app has been developed (it's called Please Please Me) where you link up to your partner and it asks you a series of sex & intimacy questions about what you like or don't like. They range from simple candles or romantic dinners to more risqué. It'll let you know when your answers match, and you can talk about them. While it seems kind of silly that you can't just talk directly about sex, I think it sounds interesting, and a good way to get the conversation going. The fella & I aren't there quite yet. Lol. But I do kinda want to download it with him.

I think it's adorable!! I love that area. We were *thisclose* to buying a house right in that 'hood but then I got cold feet and we backed out. I kind of wish we had stuck with it - I love West Seattle so much. But where we ended up is also wonderful and I'm really happy with our current home.

Hubs and I want to move to North Seattle but with prices as they are, we may just stay put for five years and then move to West Seattle (which is our ideal location anyway) right before C starts kindergarten. It wouldn't help my commute at all, but I'll trade walks on Alki and a gorgeous craftsman for a shitty commute. That seems fair.

RIGHT?? I mean, it was a cute house, great spaces, good neighborhood, but like ... come the fuck on.

I think we may hold off looking until the market cools down in September-ish.

Water taxi as part of your commute doesn't sound horrible. Also there are talks of putting in light rail.

Hi. Busy here.

My oot friend was here for the weekend. We spent Saturday at ocean shores and had an amazing time. We saw Paul on Sunday night and that was just unbelievable.

Took Monday off to recover and so glad I did. I was exhausted and had doubly over cramps.

Yesterday and today, at a workshop for the new system I'm helping my old company implement. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Tomorrow, back to my real job. Tman is camping with the scouts this weekend. James is going to work, I think. Not sure what I will do.

Would love to get to see kwpnjumper55 s kittens soon.
