Hoping I disclaimed this enough and have the details down far enough they won't pop up for those hovering.
I don't even know what to say...I was on FB and noticed something about a local high school. We happen to be going there tonight for a mayoral debate on public safety. Looked at the post and a 15yo girl was seriously assaulted at the school. She was airlifted to the hospital but died. In high school. For a fight over a boy.
Seriously? This is worth killing someone and ruining multiple lives - including your own - over - a boy?!?

i'm always curious on these types of situations...was it a normal/typical high school fight with some freak element of disaster (fell & hit her head on the sink) or was it just that vicious/violent of an attack.
Either way...very tragic.
A HS kid was recently in critical condition here after getting into a fight at a movie theater.

One of the tweets I saw from a news org said this. She got jumped in the bathroom, but hit her head on a sink. I'm sure we'll learn more definitive answers as they investigate.

This stuff scares me as my kids get older. A friend of mine died in college from some stupid drunken fight. He fell backwards and hit his head on the curb.
