Why would this happen? Why would two pregnancies in a row just not develop?
The only thing I can think of is that I developed postpartum hypothyroidism (and then dx Hashimotos), but my levels have been good both times I got pg. So that wouldn't be it, right?
I know, I know these things just happen. But fuck. Twice in a row. I had the first D&C three months ago today.
I had 3 in a row before dd. Then I got lucky. What helped me somewhat the third time was getting the embryo tested and finding out there was a chromosomal problem to explain it. Maybe you can ask for testing? It sucks but truly it is bad luck so much of the time. I'm so sorry and wish you well in getting through such a tough time.

I ask myself this all the time. It's so awful to go through. I am going to do the RLP. I don't think there's a huge chance it'll reveal anything, but seems worth a shot. My doctor also mentioned a hysteroscopy? Just checking inside the uterus. I feel like we're just throwing darts here.

So many ((hugs)).
Sometimes it is simply bad luck and sometimes there is a cause. What are your thyroid levels? My RE likes TSH between 1-2, closer to 1, when TTC. Also, I taken a double dose of my thyroid med on Mon and Thursday as soon as I get a BFP. Something to think about and ask about but likely not an answer.
As you know, I had two losses before C. I did RPL testing (which I recommend you push for) and it came up unexplained (which is good in many ways but mentally suck a mind suck since it would be awesome to have something to "fix" for the next pregnancy). My RE told me to take baby aspirin daily and PIO shots thru first tri. So far these are the only changes and have led to one successful pregnancy and another that is looking pretty textbook right now.

Definitely ask for a RPL panel.
I had 2 losses before DD1. My doctor ran basically every single test possible.
Most people have their tests come back fine and its basically just bad luck, but its at least better to know that. Also, they could potentially test everything after your d&C to see if its a chromosonal issue or something like that.
