This has been the week from hell. SO happy to get to Friday without killing anyone.
What are you doing this weekend?
I'm swimming tomorrow, but otherwise I don't think I have too many plans. My random is that last weekend I wandered around Nordstrom, but didn't buy anything (I was looking for a suit jacket and their selection was woeful). Today I got an email from them asking how the experience was. OMG. Am I being stalked? I really need to remember to put my phone in airplane mode before I shop.

I put this on MMM already! Tonight: Triple date to a new restaurant with some parents from DD1's school. So excited! Tomorrow working in yard? Sunday I'm running 6.2 miles in a marathon relay. I haven't trained AT ALL. In the last year, I've run a 3 miles. Once. Whoopsa. I'm just going to take it slow and I should be fine.
Since our deck is being done there's really nothing outside DH and I can do. The company we used works on Saturdays and because of the can of worms that got opened with our house they're already delayed. I think we'll finish staining the 2 pieces of patio furniture we didn't get to last weekend but otherwise it'll be inside cleaning. My house is covered in pollen, doesn't help we keep the windows open so all the dressers/kitchen etc have a yellow dust layer.
Tonight my MIL made a lamb curry. I'm so excited about this - she's such a good cook when it comes to Indian food (for obvious reasons). I'm going to workout and go to a friend's birthday dinner tomorrow night (yum, French food) and then on Sunday, we'll go for a pub quiz in the evening.
We are going to check out a new shopping area, try to take bluebonnet pics and maybe look for patio furniture. I saw this on pinterest and I'm going to go to Target to check out the chairs. Does anyone have Target patio furniture? I hope the quality is decent.
We have a small space. Eventually I would like a dining table outdoors and I think we can use those chairs at the ends, kind of like this.
@missy1, I looked at that chair a couple weeks ago, and it doesn't seem very sturdy. Definitely give it a go, though, and see if it could work for you.
As for me, I continue to do the homeworks. Finalizing a presentation board, practicing two presentations, writing a paper, completing a group project, taking a test, and doing some random homework. I don't have enough time for it all!
My plans involve cleaning house and working on the yard. Exciting stuff.
These are my plans, too, except I am super excited because it's the new house! I'm all like LOOK AT ME PUT SHIT AWAY! LET'S BUILD A COMPOST BIN!
I'm hoping to pick up some paint swatches tonight. H is going to build a frame for our new latex mattress, which should arrive next week. We've been sleeping on a twin the past few nights and it's the pits (our old bed is still at the previous house for staging purposes). We are still in limbo on the sale of our other house... waiting to find out what kind of repairs the buyer might want.
mrs.jacinthe, that is so creepy. How did they even get your email address?
emoflamingo It's so pretty! Will you paint a gold crown on the side?
Just so you all know, I'm probably going to spam the board with questions over the next couple weeks. I had a bunch that I thought of yesterday and now I can't remember them. lol.
Nurse Cramer had stopped speaking to Nurse Duckett, her best friend, because of her liaison with Yossarian, but still went everywhere with Nurse Duckett since Nurse Duckett was her best friend....Nurse Cramer was prepared to begin talking to Nurse Duckett again if she repented and apologized.

nursecramer, I thought about it lol. I'm just going to get the little aluminum emblems to put on the back. I generally don't do stickers on my cars because I like taking things off when I get tired of them lol.

I'm clearing assorted yard areas, I bought a pole chain saw I'm excited to use. A landscape company came by yesterday to give us a quote for a fertilizer program, and he said he could do our beast of a project for $2000-$2500. We've been clearing monster bushes entangled with vines, and still have an 8x10 bush section, removing ground cover, removing multiple stumps in the larger 15x40' section then getting lots of dirt and then topsoil to level a deep slope and then seed with grass left. Seems like money well spent and they would finish in a day or two. I'd rather move on to another yard project.
They are finally starting the deck next week so we have some furniture to move and plants to dig out and transplant elsewhere.
DH is coming home tonight, after almost 3 weeks oot on business, so today I have been cleaning and finding places for all of the stuff that I meant to take care of while he was gone. lol
I made the mistake of sitting down 'just for a minute', and now I want to take a nap.
We have no plans for the weekend, other than getting groceries and dog food. DH is really tired of eating out in a town without a lot of healthy or light options.

Lunch meeting today with a colleague, installation later (if it stops raining), 2 estimates to write, then a weekend of painting and carpentry in the mudroom. I CAN'T WAIT TO BE DONE WITH THAT ROOM.
mrs.jacinthe, that is so creepy. How did they even get your email address?
I don't know! I'm so weirded out! I mean, I know cell phone/Google = big brother, but I didn't buy anything, didn't connect to their WiFi, nothing. I'm freaked out that I'm somehow handing my email to anyone in range of my cell phone and now I want to start wrapping it in tin foil. Lol

How did your powder room turn out? Did you post about that during my hiatus?

I am pretty private and dislike my info being handed out all willy nilly. I would be pretty pissed and go up the chain until I figured out how they got my contact info.

You guys are so great with your yards! I bought my first house in the fall, so I actually bought my very first lawn mower today. I'll be getting that together this weekend, though I'm not sure I'll mow yet - the Tru Green guy said I should probably let it grow longer to help the grass grow thicker.
I'm a little intimidated by the mower - I'll get over it; I got over being intimidated by the snow blower. But those of you using power tools leave me a little in awe.
