This is probably a really stupid question. Will these pop on an employment drug screen? Has anyone ever had any issues with proving the prescription is legit?

It's for a new job. I took the bottle and information with me when I went to take the test, but the person there said they don't deal with it. They send the test out to a facility in Texas or something. She said if anything showed up, they would call me and I'd have to deal with them from there. I asked if they know what all they tested for, but she couldn't even tell me that. So, now I'm freaked out.

DH gets randomly drug tested at work. As long as there is a current, valid prescription it should be fine. You may need to provide a copy of the prescription or something.

In my experience, there is usually the screening place has a space to list your current Rx on your intake form. You would then be asked for a prescription (current bottle) if needed.
I'm on 50mg Vyvanse and have never had an issue with testing.
Also, I'm a little yikes to everyone's dr requiring rando screens. My doctor's office just cares if you owe them money.

I have always just listed whatever I am currently taking. I recently had a drug test just after surgery, so I had been taking Tylenol 3. I brought in my prescription in case it was an issue. I've listed ADHD meds at drug tests and never had an issue.
I only know based on how it works on the railroads and the FRA.
You would do the urine testing. If there is a positive, you would be contacted by the testing company and asked to provide documentation that you have a legitimate health indication and legal prescription to use the stimulant. If you do, your employer would not be informed.

Yes, it did show on my drug screen. The lab called me and got my doctors office info, and my doctor faxed them something saying its legally prescribed to me.
