My DH is traveling through London in Oct for business and I'd like to tag along with our 2 year old. The only snag is that DH will take off to Morocco for 3 days in the middle of the trip, leaving me and the boy to fend for ourselves in London.
Can you recommend any kid-friendly things to do in London for 3 days? Keeping in mind that I'm going to be solo-parenting.
I've thought of the zoo and the parks (if it's not too cold or rainy), but what else is there to entertain small children?
If you want a change of scenery, it's really easy to take the Eurostar to Paris from London. I did this with DD when she was 15 months old. We spent several days in the UK visiting friends and then spent 3 days in Paris. I was traveling with DD alone and it was very manageable.
Kew Gardens, Richmond, Greenwich, tons of parks, Science Museum (in the bottom level is a kids area), Natural History Museum, Hampton Court Palace, Princess Diana Memorial Playground, the Zoo, there is a ton to do with kids in London.
