Trip Insurance?

Is Disney's trip insurance worth it or is there a better third party option? We've never used trip insurance before, but we'll be going during peak hurricane season and I don't want to have our vacation ruined by the weather!

After we had one kid come down with a stomach bug the day before we were supposed to fly, we always buy trip insurance. Thankfully our pedi got her some meds to make it through the day for the flight/shuttle ride on that trip, but kids have the worst timing.

I'd buy it if you know there's a chance you'd use it. There's no way to know if a hurricane will hit or not, but the potential of losing all that $$ made me never want to not have it again.

Can't speak to a 3rd party option, we just add it on with our reservation.
