Best kid sunscreen I can buy in store?

I like Rocky Mountain sun screen or no ad brand. I don't really worry about the chemicals.

Our camp program uses rocky mountain sunscreen mostly. It's not greasy which I like.

I've been pretty happy with Babyganics. They aren't the best for no "ingredients", but it actually goes on smoothly, rubs in relatively well, and isn't greasy AF. He's never had a sunburn with it, it's readily available at Target.

Yes to Cucumbers works well for my kids (super sensitive skin). Neutrogena Dry-something also works well but probably more chemicals in that one.

Do you have Costco? They have Honest sunblock (zinc oxide) and bug spray as well that's made from essential oils.

I bought babyganics pure mineral sunscreen and I like it to far. The price is fair. I looked at the blue lizard on and the bottle was 22.99 for 4.7 ounces. I think between the two I'd go through a bottle a week which was expensive.

I've also been happy with Babyganics. I've found it at Target, but not at the drugstore or grocery store.

We've been using the Aveeno Baby since DS was born and it's always worked well with no issues.

Yellow tube of banana boat kids that only lists zinc oxide & titanium dioxide as the active ingredients. Cheap, it's every where &
no chemical sunscreen.

Banana Boat Kids Free spray for daycare, they prefer the spray. Rated a 3 on the EWG website.

Coppertone Water Babies Pure & Simple lotion for home, also rated a 3 on the EWG website.

What banana boat spray are you talking about that gets a 3? Ewg is pretty anti spray sunscreen. Assuming aerosol.

Same. We are going on our 3rd summer using this kind and are really happy with it. Not greasy. Decent price. Never had a burn and DS is veeeery pale.

I just use Waterbabies, it has a physical blocker which I personally believes works better than chemical blockers. I don't buy into the EWG hype though

I have used babyganics for 3 years now, and I like it.

DS wears a rash guard and a big hat from Costco at the pool and when daycare has water play. He hasn't been burned yet.

The Costco hat is awesome imo for $8.

Oh this is interesting. I only look at the EWG's sunscreen guide not their cosmetics data base and the results are different, I guess b/c they are looking at different things. The sunscreen guide gives this a 7. Besides specific ingredients I know they ding sunscreens for being aerosol sprays & for SPF above 30. I don't worry about the latter b/c whether it's 30 or 50 or 100, we'll apply it just as often.

Coppertone Water Babies Pure & Simple. It's a good balance of being readily available at stores, not super expensive, good chemical rating, and not too hard to apply.

thank you for clarifying! I thought I was crazy because I found what looked to be the the same product rated a 3 and a 7 when I searched for banana boat continuous spray. They don't make it easy!
