But seriously, they're sunglasses. Unless you're secretly Jennifer Aniston or someone else who is going to be followed around by the paparazzi I don't think anyone really cares about your sunglasses lol

OP, I would never bat an eye at those.
Like many (no doubt smart and stylish) posters, I get $15 and under glasses at TJMAXX or Marshalls. I just cracked a great pair of Betsy Johnson wayfairer-ish ones so I need to get new ones. Mone last maybe a season if I'm lucky, so I stick to the under $20 pairs.
I got a pair of polarized Ray Bans about 6 years ago and I'm terrible with these bad boys. I toss them in my purse and I've dropped them on more than one occasion and they're good as new. I've never had sunglasses that were this tough ((( knock on wood )))
For those who have an "eye" for fashionable sunglasses: can you explain what makes a pair ugly vs. stylish, or show some examples?
I really like sunglasses and spend way more than $15, so I don't really identify with people in this thread, lol. I also don't get why they get lost/broken all the time? Anyway, here are some of my favorites (in addition to other basic ones, like plain aviators):
(can't find a good pic of these, but they are rose gold)

Thank you. I personally think those are all gaudy. But I thought my $15 Target pair looked decent, so what do I know?
lol well to each his own
I will say, I can't really think that I've ever noticed 'ugly' sunglasses as much as I'll notice if I like a pair someone is wearing.
