I am looking at going home this summer with my one year old. We have a stroller but it is not travel-ready. I am looking at purchasing a more compact model.
My local second hand store has the Cybex Onyx and the Quinny Senzz for 99€. I want something cheap because I have read horror stories about the airlines and strollers. I also want something that reclines all the way.
Do you have any suggestions? Experiences? Opinions?

It's more expensive (about $200) but I really like flying with my Mountain Buggy Nano. It comes with a cover and fits in the overhead bin. Maybe not all airlines will let you take it on, but it does fit.
The Senzz looks cool but it doesn't have a basket or a shade right? I wouldn't get a stroller without those things.
We have a Cosatto Supa for travelling which looks similar to the Cybex one. The only issue was that it's really hard for me to fold up and put up for scanning one-handed (for the trips I did with LO on my own). I've never heard of the Quinny one but it looks much handier for that reason - that it stands up when folded and folds up a bit easier for manuevering. If you're travelling with someone else that makes this feature less appealing.
I'd go with whatever is lighter if you'll be on your own or moving around a lot.
rupertpenny, the MB Nano is the new hot compact stroller in my hood - urban with lots of people that travel a lot. I've been thinking about selling my Phil & Teds once DS2 is out of it for good and going with the Nano. Thanks for the review.
elenetxu, we used a lightweight Maclaren Triumph + Ergo carrier for travel. The Maclaren was cheap second hand and nothing fancy but did the job. Plus I wasn't sweating the airline breaking it.
I second the mb nano or a maclaren, i have travelled with both. Dont worry about the airlines- when they break my strollers they buy me new ones!
And although I love being able to bring the nano on board I think the simplicity of a really lightweight umbrella is easier for security (even though the nano folds easily I still think the umbrella style folding of a Maclaren is even easier).
When I travel with only one kid I just use a back-carry baby carrier and then a small rolling carryon and a small shoulder purse in place of a backpack. If the kid is tired they fall asleep on my back so just as good as sleeping in the stroller

The Onyz looks cool! A bit heavy but a good recline. The Senzz looks too heavy. Where is home? I would fly with a baby carrier and then if you are headed to the states buy a Summer Infant 3D Lite- should be about $100 and I have heard lots of good recs, also it is only 13lb. My umbrella that is super lightweight (Maclaren Volo) doesn't recline which is a pain even if the kids still manage to sleep in it (same with the Maclaren Mark which is super duper light).
