How Many Mods

Please vote for the number of mods we should have. If the consensus is three is OK, we'll get set up as mods and proceed from there. Otherwise, we'll vote for whatever number wins.

Just to elaborate on my being fine with three. I do think it would be overkill, but there were three that threw their hats in and I'd be fine with three primarily for that reason.

I think three's a lot for the amount of posts will probably have here, but I can't imagine moderating on this board is going to cause us to fight with each other. I could be wrong, though.

ETA: But I think we should go with the results of the poll.

What's the reasoning behind more than one? (That's not meant to be snarky; I think I missed that discussion.) We'll have global mods too, right?

We will have global mods. The only reason for more than one is that more than one person volunteered, but with global mods, I think one would be just fine.

thats why i voted 2... it helps if one mod isnt around... we just dont have the traffic needed for 3...

It's a reasonable question. I think with more than one there's less of a burden on any one person to always be around and available. Not that I think we're going to need crazy amounts of Moderating, but I always feel like two is better than one in cases like this

I totally agree. If three volunteered, I don't want to vote one person out. Especially when I don't really know anybody.

I think any amount is fine. The more coverage the better especially since some people have been moved to tears or shaking rage over accidentally reading an unmarked spoiler.
