One more day to get through and not go into labour and I will have a May baby! No signs yet anyway.
We have no plans at all this weekend because of never knowing if I would be having a baby or not so now I need to scramble and think of some things to do.
K did that thing we don't talk about for the first time in like 9 months!!!!!! She fell asleep at 7:20 and didn't make a peep until 6:15. She's nursing now and hopefully will doze for another hour.
I went out with my friends last night. So much food. I ate too much!
We have friends coming over this afternoon. I need to clean a bit before that and hopefully H can get out to mow.
We have baseball practice this morning and I'm taking one of DS1's friends since his mom is double booked. I feel like such an adult when other people trust me to take care of their kids (which I realize is ridiculous considering 13 year olds babysit and all). Then we are going to a May Fair then Home Depot for landscaping supplies. Unless the kids have a meltdown, then we will go straight to naps.

L was up at 4:00 this morning and I can deal with early mornings but that is way too early. No thank you, sir! I brought him into the guest room bed with me and after a few protests, we both fell back asleep and slept until 5:45. It was so nice to wake up and it be sort of light out. We normally start the day in total darkness. Not sure what we'll do this morning but I'm thinking swimming this afternoon.
I've been up since 6, drinking coffee and eating breakfast while everyone is still asleep.
We have our first session of swim lessons this morning. We haven't done swim lessons since last summer so will be interesting to see how it goes with 2 wiggly toddlers.
We are in the hospital with DD2. She woke up around 12:30 wheezing and croupy. No symptoms prior to bedtime. She was retracting so bad that we called 911. They ended up admitting her overnight. Poor thing. DH and I have gotten about 2 hours of sleep. Hopefully we will be discharged this morning. She seemed to respond well to the meds so we are just waiting to see if she rebounds once the steroid wears off.
No ds2 I did not want tiger up at 6:30 after you kept me up all night with your thrashing around the bed. We are the only two up. Counting down til I can move him to ds1s room
I'm up with S. She got up at 5:45 (ugh) but DH took the first hour so I can't complain. She is happily playing on her playmat. I think we will go out to breakfast this morning, then DH is going spearfishing. I don't know what S and I are going to do. Grocery shop maybe? We have zero food in this house!
This big girl bed thing is for the birds. She gets up earlier and earlier everyday. Today it was 6:45. She usually sleeps until 8:30 or 9 on Saturdays.

Sooo glad the boys don't have soccer at 8:15 anymore as it lets us sleep in a little bit. Funny how that's like 7:30-8:00 to me now I used to regularly sleep in till 9 or 10 if I had the chance in my twenties, lol.
I'm up with the kids while DH sleeps in. This never happens because I am spoiled, lol, but he is sick.
There's a big Cub Scout garage sale happening a block or two over and I was thinking of walking over with the kids. Then I remembered I have $3 in cash

My friend's sister's husband wrote to me last night and asked for a cake for her... for today. So I got to go to the grocery store last night and make a birthday cake. Chocolate with raspberry mousse, chocolate frosting & ganache. And now I get to deliver said cake today. I'm going to institute a rush fee I think. Lol.
Baby's first night at home went really well! He actually slept part of the night in the cosleeper and didn't get me up for the day until 7am!
He's starting to nurse well. I had to supplement with formula a bit last night because i just don't make enough and poor kid sucked it down... he was so hungry! But my supply seems to be improving so there's hope that EBF might happen!
B thinks P is the coolest baby EVER! This is never going to change, right?! ;-)

We are at a friends. DS would not go to bed until after midnight and of course we are all sharing a room. He woke up the baby and me and I freaked out on him and then he sobbed louder and louder. What a disaster. Luckily (?) all the sobbing wore him out and he went to sleep then. I think I got 4.5 hours of broken sleep.
drruth, who does that besides kids breaking up in 8th grade.
@simpledog, I feel like when I have those nights with Dd and am about to lose it she goes and sleeps 2.5 hours straight and all is right with the world. I hope you get some rest soon.
Speaking of sleep. Dd may have slept a 4 hour stretch last night and she kept falling back to sleep after wake ups instead of wanting to play. Dh and I are so sleep deprived he doesn't know how he got to bed last night and we both don't believe that she actually slept that long. We think we just forgot about getting up.
jessnpaul, dd1 still is amazed by dd2. I vote it's never going to stop. Glad things are going well for you.

I was up an hour before DD thanks to the bastard cat's antics.
Last night I got started on crafts for L's first bday party next Sat. It's an Alice in One-derland theme so I'm making 2 card soldiers for the stairway, here is the first one. I still need to make the arms.
Just confirmed her cake with the baker and am going to order the food later today. This is really happening, my baby will be one!!
s/o "parenthood is so glamorous", this conversation from last night may be a sign I'm going through a rough patch.
msniq: how was work today? me: Work was GREAT! It didn't start early, it didn't take an hour to end, nobody threw a tantrum over something completely minor and random, nobody made a mess on the floor that I had to clean up, I didn't have to count to three even once...
Thanks all. We are discharged. Steroid lasts 48 hours so hopefully that will keep it at bay. @simpledog we are down the shore. AC medical center ER is interesting to say the least.
