Please help- makeup

i need some real help with what's kind of makeup to get. 
Where should I go?  I just wear a tinted moisturizer, Chapstick and mascara. I still want to keep it simple but I need more coverage and something to Ben out my skin tone and well make me look more put together. 
I was thinking of going to Sephora and getting help. Anyone have any suggestions?

My recommendation is to go to Nordstrom if you are near one. If not, another department store might do. Check out a make up line that you might like. Find a make up artist instead of Sales person to help you. I have gone to the MAC counter many times and asked them to do my eyes and recommend makeup. Then I end up buying it all! Have fun!

Nordstrom hands down. You can schedule an appointment with one of their beauty stylist which is free. They aren't tied to one brand and will help you come up with a make up routine for you. Whenever I use their service I always get complimented on my make up. Plus if you get a good stylist they'll let you know of upcoming sales.
