I don't like my new highlights

I just had my hair done yesterday. I usually just get highlights in it and really like it. This time my stylist insisted I get some dark in it to make a contrast. I agreed but after it was done I really didn't like it. 
Its too natural looking and too dark. I don't get my hair done again for 3 months. I've never complained before but this time I really don't like the color. Should I call and ask to have it change? I feel bad complaining and I know she's busy but I don't want this to be my summer color.

Yes, call her and tell her you don't like the dark. She was the one insisting, and even if you agreed it doesn't mean you have to keep it for 3 months. You won't be the first person to ever have their stylist redo their hair.

I would just wait for the low lights to fade (in my experience they fade quickly) because i wouldn't want to sit and get highlights again.

I would call to let her know you are not liking it but you are going to see how the color settles the next couple washes. Low lights fade fast. They never stay as dark as they start
