I had an almost 26 month old who sleeps from 8 pm to 6-8 am and who naps 2-3 hours a day at home. We live in the Central time zone so we were an hour off on Disney time. We stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek so he had a PNP in the living room. Day one, he only napped 20 minutes. Days 2-7, he knocked out in his stroller and got a 2-3 hour nap each day in the parks. That nap got earlier each day and by day 6, he fell asleep at 10 am. At night, he slept from about 8-10 pm to about 6 am. We didn't stay out too late because we didn't plan breaks during the days and we were exhausted. My kid has always been a good sleeper though. He could have slept in a little more in the mornings but it was hard with him being in the living room and once we disturbed him, he was too excited to go back to sleep. He immediately started asking to either go see Donald or animals!
My toddler passed out within 5 minutes every night. The baby was up every 60-120 minutes so not any different than a normal night. Her naps lasted longer also because she was rocked in the stroller with all the walking we did. She was 7 months.
Like others, pretty well since they were so tired. They had their moments but overall it was ok. We had to push the 3 year old in the stroller a few times to get her down for a nap. The babies were always easy and slept in the ergo or stroller when needed.
We also managed to get them all asleep in the stroller at night a few times so we could partake in food & wine "kid-free."
We tried to keep a normal bedtime since DD needs 12 hours of sleep. She falls apart without it. However, she won't sleep if DH and I don't so she just laid in bed watching us while we read. Fail. We should have just stayed out!
Awesome. They went to bed later than normal (9:00, normal is 7:30) but would sleep in later too. We stay DVC villas so that also helps having a separate bedroom.
My normally pretty crappy sleeper slept like a log.
He wouldn't sleep in the PNP (always refuses on vacation, but I always try). He slept in our bed, zonked out immediately and slept really well all night. His naps weren't great, but that was mostly because we stayed out all day and let him nap in the stroller or carrier. He can't nap more than an hour unless he's in bed, but did just fine with the shorter naps. I'd love to be able to get Disney sleep every night.
At 13 months he woke once or twice a night bc he was scared & didn't know where he was. I would just say "Mommy's here" & he would lay back down.
Every other trip he STTN except for the time he got HFM.
Last time we were in a 1 bedroom at AKL & he was sleeping on a pullout in the living room. He woke up at 1 am yelled " I'm sleeping in the living room YES!!" And went back to sleep.
DS was 12/13 months when we went and slept well. He would fall asleep in the PNP but sometimes came into bed MOTN he still wasn't STTN yet. He didn't fall asleep as easily as he does at home but slept normally once asleep.
He napped well in the stroller/carrier but he is a nap anywhere kind of kid. He was taking 2 naps at the time. We really didn't have any trouble with him getting over tired so that was good.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
