This whole working in my own office now makes me want to step my career wardrobe up. I haven't had to dress up in years. Any suggestions on places to go for cute clothes that go from office to happy hour?

It's 2/2. Two of my friends like #1 and you and mryrcn like #2. Ha. I actually have a fakie of #2 just to see if I'd like it and while I was getting my rings redipped started looking and found myself being drawn to #1. Maybe it's the lack of grain around the stones? Bc the cuts are the same.

Eta: and now that I'm an April birthday I totally need new baubles with me new birthdtone. Totally logical.

The blue dress is huge on me.



The yellow one has some potential but I need some serious shapewear and to stop eating.



But the material feels like a halloween costume. I can't quite explain it.

ditzydi I can totally see that. I really want to do better at my next run and I can see how that would snowball - I can always do better. What's been your favorite half?

P.s. I love that yellow dress. I would vote keep it (spanx or no); too bad the material sucks.

I've only done the Austin Half and the 3M multiple times. I've done the Austin 10/20 which is a 10 miler. I'm registered for the Austin full for 2017. I registered for 2016 but I got a concussion which pretty much meant no running for about four months during my training period. Hopefully nothing derails me this year. I'm also contemplating a half in a neighboring town benifiting adoption services. Haven't pulled the trigger yet though.

Since you have a fake of #2 then go with #1.  I think new baubles are necessary to celebrate your first April birthday  

Yeah.  I'm really leaning towards #1.  Our 10 year anniversary is next September.  Thinking about holding off until then.  We'll see.

ditzydi - I think you should return both of those dresses. You have a great shape and neither of those are flattering on you.
