We renewed our APs and were supposed to get our new MBs today.....but when they left Memphis they went to El Paso TX instead of to us in here in FL. I have three magic bands tied to my account and one that hasn't been registered yet, so it isn't a big deal that they aren't here, but Texas? ^o)
Yesterday Epcot was dead. It was nice for us, because there were no lines and it made it easy to do everything we wanted to do (and eat everything that we wanted to eat) and we got home and out of the heat early, but it was weird. We've been there several times on a Sunday during the Flower and Garden Festival, this year and in the past, and I don't remember it ever being quite that empty. Cast members were commenting on it too.
I don't remember who recommended the ice cream in France, but thank you! It was amazing. DH had the caramel fleur de sel, (good, but a little too sweet for me), and I had coconut white chocolate. yum.
I'm supposed to book ADRs in a few weeks but a lack of accurate park hours or knowing what will be open is making it hard for me to decide which park to do which day. Can I book the same restaurant on different days and cancel for free later?

As long as you don't have two at the same time (like two lunches even for different restaurants) you can book how ever many you want. I booked 2 meals each day as of now for some because I don't know what we will want to do yet.
I am a reservation hoarder. No shame.
AS long as you cancel by the night before, there is no charge.
Has anyone made fast pass reservations in the last few days or week? We make ours next week. Can you get Soarin or Frozen Ever After or will they not be available until closer to their opening dates?
I feel like there is so much uncertainty about July! I am such a planner so this is not okay, lol.

TBM any drink recommendations at Flower and Garden?
Honestly, we haven't had the chance to try many of the drinks. The problem with living near enough to just go for a few hours now and then is that you have to drive home after. I also have problems with dehydration triggering headaches, so I have to be careful to stay hydrated and alcohol affects that.
A lot of the drinks during Flower and Garden have a lot of floral ingredients, and that isn't really my thing, so I tend to pay more attention to the food.
The Pineapple Soft serve with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum @ Pineapple Promenade is more dessert than a beverage, but it is a favorite. We actually made a bet on something when we were in line at Starbucks on Sunday and the loser had to buy the winner one of those. I won.
The LemonRita at the coffee cart in Future World was very refreshing. We had it with tequila (you have a choice of tequila or Grey Goose vodka), because it isn't really a margarita if you put vodka in it. ;p
We can't remember what we liked or didn't like about the Frozen Italian Primavera at Primavera Kitchen. We had that the opening weekend and we didn't dislike it, but we've had Limoncello drinks that we liked more. There are several drinks that we keep meaning to try but then forget once we are thinking about the food...like the Watermelon Cucumber Slush with Hendrick's Gin at Florida Fresh, the sake at Hanami and I think there were a couple at Taste of Marrakesh and at least one in France. We plan to go a few more times before the festival closes, so hopefully we'll remember to try them all.
Not festival specific-
We bought a Patron Margarita on the rocks at the drink stand outside in Mexico. It was big, but the Patron and the lime weren't particularly present. Both of us were disappointed.
We like the Mango Starr that they sell in the area with African handcrafted items, but sometimes the rum is more present than others. Even when it isn't so present it is still a good, very refreshing drink.
We found out one of my husband's groomsmen (who lives four hours away) will be there the exact same time as us. I guess they have breakfast and dinner table service reservations daily and have NO TIME to meet. Their kids are ages 5 and 2.5. Sounds interesting...
Oh boy. I understand having plans but I would think if your park days overlap at all you would be able to work something out.

The rose drink in France, the elderflower sangria in Mexico, and the watermelon cucumber slush in the Florida fresh section were all quite good in my opinion.
