Another super early commute for me. I'm not running into any traffic messes at this hour at least. The bus reroutes mean I have to pick between getting in super early or later than I'd like to, so early it is. If/when the viaduct reopens it will be nice to "sleep in".
My new job seems to be going well so far. They are letting me spend some time training on the work my team actually does sans a bunch of manager task responsibilities so I'm grateful for that opportunity. My old team is codependent so I'm still down there quite a bit helping them figure out all the stuff I passed off. The nice thing is that being super busy has been making the days just fly by.

Morning. I'm headed up to Everett today for a meeting and hoping to feel well enough to go for a run this afternoon.
I tried something my doc recommend this morning to help with nausea. Apparently there are studies if you eat a carb with a protien right away when you wake up with out moving it can help. I ate a half peanut butter sandwich this morning and I don't feel as sick! I am hoping this holds true for the rest of the day.
Bkb has swimming tonight so her and h will be home late, hopefully that means I will get lots of homework done.
Glad you are feeling a little better today karebear219!
I'm also glad that the commute wasn't too bad for any of our West Seattle/Southend Nexties (so far). The morning news made the Southend I-5-North traffic look terrible this morning.
Not much going on with me. I'm just counting down until Saturday I'm a very good wife and agreed to go to the Bacon & Beer Classic at Safeco on our anniversary, even though I don't eat bacon. I did pick out a spot to eat Brunch beforehand, for me at least, H will probably just order a small appetizer.

Meeting last night with the loan officer went amazing! She thinks we are really on the right track in regard to getting this house built even if we are a few years out. We are making smart and informed steps into making our dream a reality and making it as hassle free as possible. It's created a lot of confidence. Now I just have to work on being patient!
madDawg228, - There was a roll over accident that blocked the two center lanes at Boeing Field around 5:45am. The backup was all the way to Tukwila on I-5 from I could see it from the Link light rail.
@aellasbeth, - You are totally right! I hope she & C are doing ok. You guys are building? That's awesome. Patience sucks. Good luck.

We will eventually. I just really don't thing my anxiety could handle looking for an already built house with the buying process and the market being what it is right now, so we would rather build. We are both state employees so we don't foresee leaving for any reason and we will never have a reason to expand since we aren't having kids so we might as well just build our forever home right off the bat.

I'll tell you...the south end commute sucked. It took me an hour and 20 minutes. Yesterday was about the the same. I understand that it's not "AS BAD" as they thought, but it still sucks.
I wish I could come in early, but I can't drop Tman off at school until 7:30.
Not much going on. I still don't have my car back. James called yesterday and they said maybe Thursday. Sucks. I rented a car until tonight and got a great rate. When I called last night to extend it, they wanted $150 for two more days. WHAT?! So now I have to take this car back and go to a different rental company to get a different car for the next two days for $60.
Need to get my mom's Mother's Day stuff into the mail today. I'll need to see if there is a post office close to my work, maybe I can take it at lunch time.

Have you tried ginger? I have ginger gum and ginger candies in my purse all the time and they have helped - I just pop one the second I start feeling a little queasy.Â
You betcha. I have gum, candies, and tea. They will help some, like today probably won't need meds. Yesterday even the meds didn't help.
karebear219, that's rough I lived off warheads (which just ripped up my mouth) and then collagen hydrolysate by great lakes gelatin also helped - it is just protein that dissolved in water.
It's my birthday so I am thinking of leaving work early and going to the spa for a bit... also I just want a crunch roll for dinner alas no sushi for me

Day 2 of Allegra, a tad less deathly sleepy today. Hope it lasts because I have class tonight and for the next five Tues/Thurs which means battling rush hour traffic to get to North Bellevue by 6pm and then class doesn't get out until 9:30 and I've been falling asleep on the couch by 9:30 the past many days.
I'm sorry about the traffic mess and not super flexible schedule georgeharrison
Hi there @sfgal530 ! Are congratulations in order?
If congratulations are your thing, then yes. Total surprise to me when it happened, but I'm due 11/14. Husky class of... 2039? I think? I can't do math that far out to figure out his graduation year, honestly. Sometime a long time from now. He's not going to be a football player, but the UW Chess Team could have a real competitor with him. We have the N/T scan tomorrow and will probably get to hear the heartbeat, so I know my H will be crying his eyes out. I'm finally excited - the first trimester was literally the worst experience of my life, but today is an okay day so that's nice. I take what I can get anymore.
GL with the phone interview! I'll be looking for an update tomorrow or Thurs.
Hey congrats!!! That's amazing!!! We miss you over here!!
@sfgal530,CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!! spa,Happy Birthday!!! I feel you on the sushi thing. I'm still eating sushi and deli meat like it's going out of style to make up for the pregnancy months.
Hello! I'm working from a different office today, so my commute was a dream! I'm looking at a few other opportunities, one I may have missed out on, but I'm crossing my fingers that they'll still accept my interest. Send vibes if you have them!
H decided we're going to Taco Tuesday tonight, so, a margarita may be in my near future
spa, Happy Birthday!! I've never had sushi so I'll dedicate my oatmeal lunch to you and toss in a few extra strawberries
sotally tober, sending some good vibes and crossing the crossables for you!
Nothing exciting for me. Just crossing off things on my busy day. Tomorrow is looking to be equally as nuts. H has a but load of things to do once he gets home from work as well and I won't be able to help. Depending on the weather tomorrow I might have to mow our yard H won't be able to do it in time and if it waits until next week it will be horribly long. I hate mowing.

I'm just here to report that traffic was normal for me today, since the accident and back-up happened just before my on-ramp. Sorry for anyone who was farther south than me. It sounded miserable
