I'm standing at my voting screen this morning selecting candidates, and this conversation happened directly across from me. At this point, everyone has selected a party ballot.
Man, standing at his screen, clearly frustrated, he finally asks the poll worker, "How do I just vote a straight ticket?"
Poll worker: "Sir, you have the Republican ballot."
We moved about a year and a half ago and I updated my voter registration address, but I haven't gotten a new drivers license since it doesn't expire for a couple more years. The lady tells me when I'm checking in this morning that I need a utility bill to prove my new address. What?!?! My husband was with me and I mentioned that he has the correct address on his license and the guy next to her said that should work. Which if that's really a rule, I'm doubting that it should. But I haven't found anything that says that I need to prove my current address.
The guy who is running against our current governor announced a while back that he plans to fix voting in Indiana to make it easier on people. I REALLY hope he gets elected. For a variety of reasons.

Did you move from one residency in Indiana to another within the state? If so, I think you have 30 days to change your license, but you have to go to a branch to do it. I don't think expiration applies if your physical address changes.
Why is the swastika armband somehow worse to me than a swastika tattoo? Maybe because it involves present thought of "Hey, I'm putting this on today? Gonna get my vote on and make as many people uncomfortable AF in the process?"
Regardless, with your first post I was all "well, that sucks" but with the picture I gasped.
I don't get the POINT of the armband? Is it to say, "This is what we would be like under Trump, so don't vote for him!" Or is it, "Fuck yeah! Trump! Put those fuckers in their place!" Or is it something else? Like, WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE HERE!?! And obviously that armband doesn't serve its purpose if I cannot figure out what that purpose fucking IS!

You need to prove your new address to make sure that you vote in the correct precinct/district (if there are precinct/district races) and to prevent you from voting at your old address as well. You know, to prevent voter fraud.

We stayed in the same county, but changed cities. I'm not aware of a requirement to change my license though because of an address change. I've definitely not changed it every time I move.
It is disturbing and I really don't know if it's against the law. You can't wear a party or candidates shirt, sticker, or whatever. You'd think this wouldn't be allowed as well.

If you can't legally wear something promoting/representing a political party, wouldn't that also be illegal, since it's the symbol of the American Nazi Party.

That is true, I didn't think about that. I wonder why no one stopped him?

Those laws may not apply to primaries, not sure. I also think they are extremely specific and narrow, and may just apply to words and images that specifically advocate for a given candidate, etc.
