Can someone help me pick shoes for a wedding?

I'm hoping some of you stylish ladies can help me :-)

My BIL is getting married later this month, and I'm trying to pick shoes to go with the dresses.

For the rehearsal dinner, I'm wearing this:



I was thinking either gold or silver shoes, and I was looking at getting one of these:

For the wedding, I'm wearing a bridesmaids dress, but I can wear any shoes I want. I have no idea on what color. I was thinking maybe navy?? But what style? Any suggestions?

Also, the wedding is outside, so I had originally been looking for a wedge so my heel wouldn't sink into the grass, but I think I've given up on that and just want to find something!

i wouldn't do navy shoes with a light dress like that. why not just wear the same pair for both events? or find a good nude or neutral metallic shoe without any embellishment for the wedding? if you can wear any shoe you want, find something you can use again.

I agree. Wear the same shoes. I prefer the first pair out of the two you posted.

Another vote for finding a pair of shoes you can wear with both dresses. I'd go simple.

Thank you for the help, ladies! I very rarely wear anything besides flip flops or sandals, so I feel like I don't even know what's in style.

ditzydi -- I like the second ones you posted! I'd definitely like a shorter heel. I was worried something like that would be too casual?? Do you think it goes with both dresses?

Okay, or should I get these, which Amazon has in my size (in pink) for $100, but some of the reviews say they're uncomfortable?

Anyone familiar enough with Badgley Mischka to tell me I'm stupid to not get them/they're always uncomfortable and I should avoid?

My mom wore a similar pair for my sister's wedding, she wore them for pictures then changed into flat. Not comfy.
