One day park hopper

I think doing all 4 parks in one day is insane.

I mean I have DONE it. But I don't recommend it. Since you live so close to Disneyland, I would skip the MK ( although the castle is much larger) and do the other 3.

I would start your day at the most recommended park on easywdw.com for your date. I would make FPs for after lunch at your second park ( I would choose HS) and then I would head over to AK to do the night safari and everest and see the new night time stuff.

I would make a list of " must dos " for each park and follow a good touring plan. You will end up waiting the most at your third park.

Aren't a lot of schools out by Memorial Day now?

I think it will be crowded but not spring break crowded.

Yes. You can plan 30 days out, you just have to buy your tickets in advance.

If I were you, I would skip MK for sure, and maybe AK (it's too hot-Jan is a much better time for the animals). Epcot is our favorite park, in part because it is so different than anything in DL or DCA. We like HS too.

We probably like HS because it reminds of us CA and fills a little void, and it is small enough to do a fair amount in a relatively small amount of time...it's a nice park to go to on a park hopper day. I prefer TOT at DCA though, and really miss that ride.

I hear that they're going to remove TOT at DCA and replace or retheme it with Guardians of the Galaxy.

That makes me sad.   We have been on ToT in CA, FL and in Japan, and CA is my favorite by far.   I guess that the best thing about the one here is that they are talking about putting in a cocktail lounge. lol

Test Track is at Epcot.

The big rides at DHS are Tower of Terror, Rock'n'Roller Coaster, Toy Story Mania, and Star Tours. DHS is where all the Star Wars stuff is right now.
