Nothing is fitting any more, except a pair of flats and two pairs of sandals. I looked for some shoes over the weekend, I found nothing. Which is not surprising- I have wide feet anyway, and always have trouble finding shoes.
I can get away with shoes that would generally be considered too casual for work for the next 6 weeks, right?
I would think so, but it probably depends on what shoe, and what your job is. Normally wear a suit and heels, and now you're going with flats? Probably fine. Normally wear a suit and now you're going with tennis shoes? Probably not. Work is business casual and you usually wear flats but now are thinking of wearing Toms? Probably okay.
I work in a very professional, pearl-clutchy office and the last few weeks I wore flip flops because I couldn't get my swollen, fat feet in anything else. Do what you gotta do.
I work in a fairly casual office (I'm wearing jeans today). The last three months or so of pregnancy, I wore flip flops after my feet swelled so bad - until a CW brought in some big, ugly, brown Crocs for me to wear because she hated seeing me walking in them in the snow. It was November. In Minnesota. And I was wearing flip flops because I literally could not cram my feet into anything else until she gave me those Crocs. I wore the Crocs every single day until DD was born in early December.

I've been wearing the same pair of brown flip flops for the last 2 months. I just pretend like others can't see my feet- I know I can't! Do what you gotta do.
I'm a dentist and wore cheap flip flops the last two or three months of my pregnancy. Literally nothing fit anymore and I doubt anyone was looking at my feet considering my belly was the first thing entering the room.
I wore sneakers to a huge presentation at 36w with the president of my division and loads of directors and vice presidents. I made some suitably self-deprecating remarks at the beginning of the presentation everyone laughed and we all moved on.
I wore flip flops to the office exclusively from about six months on and never got a comment even though some of the higher ups were weird about dress code. I did go to target and buy a pair of plain black flats a full size up for when I had client meetings. They weren't perfect but I could wear them once or twice a week for a few hours and look somewhat presentable.
I worked in business professional and wore Old Navy flip flops that had stretched with my swelling feet. Had anyone said a word, I would have gladly let them find a pair of something else that would actually fit on my feet. Like another poster, I was about 20 lbs of straight water. Everything was swollen. As it was, not a single person said anything. Of course I was HR...
Oh yes. I used to have size 7.5 feet and at the end of my first pregnancy, I was wearing size 10* :/ I bought the fugliest brown clogs from target and wore the crap out of them. But I could just slide my feet in, it was necessary.
I wore slippers to work in my last weeks with DS#3. My boss tried to flick me some shit about it, and I said "do you want me to get a doctor's note, you jerk?" (I wasn't very patient those last weeks lol). He's like "oh no, no...you don't need to do that!" I dearly would have loved to tell him "Well just STFU then!"
ETA: So I really didn't call him a jerk, but the look I gave him said it all. lol
"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny
Definitely. I had DD1 in December and wore gray sweater Uggs with my black dress pants, lol. They were comfy, big enough for my pre-e swollen feet, and made me feel better about walking through the icy parking lot. I looked ridiculous but whatever.
