Hmm ours would be $86. I'm thinking of just getting park hoppers and hopping to MK on a non-party night to do night time stuff. It's cheaper for all of us to do that and then we have flexibility all the other days too.

Yikes. It would be $84 for the day we're considering, and we'd need 3 tickets. I've never gone to the Christmas party before. Is it worth paying that much for it? My son is 5, so I don't think we'd stay later than 10 pm. We had fun at the Halloween party last year, so I was imagining the Christmas party would be fun, too.

We love the parties. My kids go until midnight though so I do feel like we get the full value of the tickets.
Hmm. It's $86 for me but we would just get a 1 day to Epcot for Saturday, pool day Sunday morning, and then do the party Sunday night. So basically the same as buying 2 days of tickets.

We purchased hoppers this time around instead of going to the party. The party is great and all, but the girls didn't last very long after the first parade, so we didn't really get to take advantage of everything the party had to offer. For the price, we'll wait until they get a little older.
Well, that certainly makes up our minds about whether or not to do the Christmas party!
ETA - did I read somewhere that crowds at MK on party days are pretty light? Or am I making that up?
Yes we went last year and MK was much less busy on party days. Very noticeable difference. We did the Christmas party last year but 90% certain we will not this year (last year we had family that picked up DS and DD a few hours in and put them to bed so DH and I were able to stay late, we won't have that this year). We plan to do 2 MK days on party days, then leave the park to eat when the party is going on. We will do a non party day too I think for the night time show, or maybe just hop over in the evening. Haven't quite figured thw schedule out yet.

I'm debating what to do with this. When we went in October last year, we didn't see any of the fireworks shows. I desperately wanted to see them, but DS was *over it* by 9:30 the night of the Halloween party. I need to find out when they do fireworks on non-party nights and go from the there.
Plus, DS is hell bent on spending a lot of our time at MK. Haha
I'm not surprised by the price increase. We were considering going to the Christmas party, but I think we will skip it. DD is still really young and won't be able to stay up late. I think I would still consider it if she was older and we didn't have annual passes though.

Fireworks are usually 10pm. Maybe slightly earlier in the winter.
