We actually don't travel much in the summer even though we are both home. We head to Maine at the end of June, but we mostly stay around home. We have 2 state parks (one with a lake and one with pools) within 20 minutes of us so we do that quite a bit. I am also looking forward to early morning runs. I hope we have a few BBQs. August is a big birthday month, both kids and my parents turn 60 so lots of festivities there.

Never too early for me!
We're flying to Europe mid-June for a week of fun including a Euro Cup game in Bordeaux! Destinations on the itinerary include Paris & Bordeaux in France, then onto Zagreb & Pag Island in Croatia.
Depending on finances and weather, we may do a weekend beach trip for the 4th of July weekend like we have done in the past. It's always fun seeing the fireworks over the ocean.
Other than that, Austin BFF is planning to have some G2Gs at her new lake house that I just helped her paint. We will be taking advantage of that, it's in the beautiful part of the hill country with access to go kayaking, fishing, boating, etc.
We just got back from 5 days in NOLA, where it felt like summer (and came home to cool and rainy, bleh). Memorial Day weekend we're going to PA for our friends' wedding and then visiting other friends. 4 days in July in New Hampshire. Mid-August we go to Cabo for 5 days (we didn't pick this date ourselves-- I'm trying to stay hopeful about heat & hurricanes!). Mid-September is camp, and then London and somewhere else (Amsterdam? Oslo?) in October.
This is the first time I can remember that we don't have massive travel plans. We're talking about going to Chicago for a few days, but we haven't looked into dates or anything. We were planning on going to Fort Collins and Denver in June for a beer festival, but it looks like I'll be picking up a couple of yoga classes on Saturday afternoons, so I'm not sure that we'll actually do it. And then some camping, I'm sure.
We are moving June 21 and close on our current house June 23. So we will be finishing the yard and fence.
Then MH turns 40 at the beginning of August so I am going to have a big party for him, then in the middle of August I am going for a girls weekend in Vegas, then my friend leaves and MH comes in, so I'll be there for a week. I can't wait, I need a holiday!

I foresee a lot of mini-trips for us this summer. I'm back to being understaffed at least for the time-being. I'm not sure what the summer will bring in terms of new hires, so I can't plan too many days off in a row.
But we are going to Texarkana to see my cousin in "Young Frankenstein - The Musical" next weekend. I am so excited to see Mel Brooks' musical version of one of my favorite movies! It's a bonus that my cousin is in the play.
I'm sure we'll plan trips to go see H's brothers and nieces and nephews.
Also: -Getaway to Door County, WI for our 5 year wedding anniversary -Lots of concerts downtown by the river, including Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and a concert with a bunch of 90s bands like Sugar Ray, Lit, and Everclear -Baseball games -Hiking with probably some day trips to explore nearby state parks -Festivals at wineries and in our town
We mostly have mini-trips planned because we're planning to go to Bali in the fall.
We just got back from Moab. In a few weeks, we're going to Vegas to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Then we're going to Glenwood Springs for the Strawberry Festival and in early September we're going to Oregon.
