We are going towards the end of Sept for 3 nights. We live 2 hours away so on the first and last day we can arrive early and leave late. We are staying at the Poly. I have some dining reservations, but am having a hard time planning everything with their being so much unknown still. I can't figure out how to fit everything in that I want to do. DD doesn't do well in lines and we will have my parents MB so we will be able to use theirs for extra FP. I also have been reading we can use DD's for same day ones.
We we were there in Jan we had a few hot days and the parks/crowds were pretty unbearable by 11am. We tried to go early, but I feel like we wasted a lot of time traveling from AKL and doing character breakfasts that we missed a lot of uncrowded park times. It seemed to work out best when we ate breakfast in the room, hit the parks early, ate lunch in park or at hotel, hit the pool, then nap time and went back to the parks in the evening again. DD didn't nap in the stroller at all, but I imagine she would if we pushed her all day.
Here is what we want to do: MK: -anything DD can ride, we did all the big rides last time (mine train, space mountain, etc) and DH and I really don't have interest riding them alone so we can skip things we can't all go on. -BOG breakfast pre park opening. I have 8am on monday and tuesday. Monday is a day suggested to avoid, but Tuesday might have the paid morning hours and I only want to do the early breakfast on one of the days with less people in the park early.
EP: Food and wine (i'm pregnant so this won't be as much fun) -A&E -Soarin -Frozen boat ride
HS: -Disney Jr show -Hollywood and Vine DJ character lunch (maybe breakfast, but we aren't big breakfast people) -Beauty and the beast -Frozen show -other shows I am sure we are missing
AK -Rivers of light
Others: -we have plans for the last day to eat breakfast at the Poly Ohana, but I'm not sure if that is a waste of valuable park time. -I have dining reservations at Saana and Boma because we love those, but I'm not sure how to fit them in. We prefer to park the car and take disney transportation. We are open to eating at other hotels/parks too for dinner.

You aren't going to do all those rides at Epcot without waiting. I doubt any same day fast passes will be available for them especially either frozen ride/M&g.
Since you are local (and will be back at some point in the next year) I'd prioritize which are the most important. FP one and do the other right at rope drop. So do Epcot on a day you have nothing in the morning.
Do you have APs? There's no way I'd try to do that much in just 3-4 days. I'd drop Hollywood Studios and focus most of my time on Epcot & MK, jetting over to AK one late afternoon to maybe do the safari & ROL .
What you described as working best is how we tour every day. Maybe one early character breakfast that's pre rope drop. We get in for rope drop and go go go until early afternoon then swim/nap. When we go out in the lat afternoon, we are more relaxed.

We do have APs. I was thinking of skipping HS, but DD is obsessed with everything Disney Jr and our last trip that was the most fun for her. I haven't done the shows in years so I'm not sure how she would do with those though. I was thinking of doing this for lunch on either our first day or last day on the way out.

I'm assuming their will probably be tiered right? I was thinking we could do rope drop for soarin. Do rider swap for soarin. Then use fp for norway and then use my parents fp for the princesses. Not sure this will work though.
I know we will be back, but I don't think well be able to make it back before our passes expire. They expire the end of Jan and I am due Jan 3rd, so not likely we will make another trip.

Anna and Elsa meet and greet now fills up at 60 days out. I'm sure it will be the same once they move to Epcot. You aren't going to get a same day FP for it.
It's pretty much guaranteed that frozen ever after, the m&g, soarin' and test track will all be tier 1. There just isn't enough at Epcot to do away with the tiering.
Even with APs, you'll still be back at some point in the next few years right?

True we will be back, just not sure when and I think it will be at least a year or more. We have my parents on the reservation on property and they have tickets so we can book their fp and ours at 60 days out. They are joining us for a bit but don't want to do the parks this trip so we will have 6 fp each plus dds same day band which will be pretty useless.
I wish I knew if they were continuing the paid morning hours so I can figure out which day is best for MK. I'm also not sure about the poly breakfast. I want to do it since we are staying there but not so sure I want to use prime morning time on that.
Awesome! What are your plans? Where are you staying?
POR.
We are just doing Disney springs the first night. Either raglan road or STK. I'll drop one of the reservations when t gets closer.
Monday is Epcot. Heavy on f&w (it's an adults only trip!).
Tue will be MK.
Wed will be AK.
Then we will switch over to universal for 4 nights.
I wish we had one more night but we are renting points so I can't adjust it and don't want to move. I would like to go back in Nov/Dec but I'll be super pregnant then so not likely.
I haven't done f&w before, I'm excited although I wish I could drink. We are thinking of hiring a sitter for one evening. I can't decide if we should do MK on Mon or Tuesday. Tue looks better but if the paid emh continue it will be that day.
I don't have a magic band because we're Disneyland annual passes but I know at Disneyland you can't use another persons pass to get fast passes unless they are actually scanned at the gate. I assume the magic bands would work like that too since they have a picture with them

It's not the same, weirdly.
That is weird its not the same. We have used theirs before so I know it does work.
