I was running SO late this morning after not going to the gym and falling back asleep. Poor H was running late, too. This always makes for an interesting morning. I guess I'll be going to lunch since I didn't even have time to get mine together. 

DD has soccer tomorrow and H is working OT. Sunday we're having my parents and brother over for Mother's Day.

I am headed to visit my bff tonight and meet the new baby. Dreading driving to Ballard to do it. It'll be tough to focus on work today. There are lots of thing to work on at home.

Good morning. I am in a MUCH better headspace then yesterday. I am going up the barn with a pole studio friend. I get to ride her pony!

I have decided I am going to make a work out schedule revolving around pole and stick to it. It shouldn't be hard. I LOVE pole. Its just hard because I get home from work and I am exhausted. I just will stick to it. I can only watch TV after I am done.

TGIF! Beers and tacos was fun last night. I had a beer from Lazy Boy called Nacho Pilsner that was crazy good, and I'm not usually a fan of pilsners, but this one by Lazy Boy tasted like nachos but not in a weird way.

Tonight I'm going to a friend's bbq, and tomorrow is my anniversary with H - 12 years total, 5 married

Happy Friday.
Had to come into work this morning. I think I'm going to head out after I get a couple things done. I just texted H to see if we want to take MiMi to the pool tonight. Ekkk. I'm so ready for this weekend. Not sure who is following me on IG, but MiMi is crawling. Not sure what we have planned for Mother's Day.

I stopped by Trophy and brought one of my co workers cupcakes. Gotta drop one off for my SIL, since it's National Nurses Day. Then gotta go pick up some gifts for MiMi's teachers at daycare, because it's also Child Care Provider Day. Oh and I got truffles for MIL for taking MiMi to daycare at the ass crack of dawn this week.

minion, you are just awesome! How sweet of you to do little things to let others know you appreciate what they do. So sweet! And I seriously love the pictures of mimi on IG she is just the cutest and her hair always amazes me. Im pretty sure she has as much hair as all my kids combined lol


Nothing much today. I went to drop big red hound off at my dads for the weekend. He is going to watch her for us as she is just not cut out health wise to go anywhere. I'm already missing her big slobbery self. Now I just worry that she is ok and not thinking we left her all together I'll feel better once my dad gets home from work and she see's him and knows she is somewhere safe and with someone familiar.

I was supposed to go to SF this weekend but I was just exhausted yesterday so I cancelled my plane ticket and I'm actually very happy to have the whole weekend in front of me with absolutely no plans. Bleh - was looking for the second Mother's day card (for stepmum) this morning and couldn't find it so gave up..and then forget the one for my mom on the counter. Oh well, I'm often late and I think they'll forgive me if it doesn't get in the mail until Monday.

Annoyed with my drawing, I did several pre-sketch thumbnails, thought I had the pose down, then did the large version. I'm thrilled with the head and happy with the hand but at the larger size, I see the problem in the torso and the legs are just NOT RIGHT. SO annoying! Arting is hard Not home until midnight tonight as I have gaming after work. Filling in the between time with a stop at Costco (on a Friday, God help me) to pick up contacts that are in and see if the line is tolerable to only buy 1 thing (Allegra).

I ventured out to the grocery store with baby j on this beautiful afternoon. H's leave is over on Tuesday and it feels like it went by too fast. We've had more conversation in the last two weeks than the last two years. lol. It's hard to have an adult conversation with Em around and she has been in daycare this whole time. It's been nice. I'm ordering myself some new berkinstocks for Mother's Day. I still have mine from 8th grade. I want the gizehs but they are so spendy. At least I know they last forever
