so fun!!! have a GREAT time!!! please post what you think about AKL!!! I'm currently debating Poly or AKL for our trip in August! ( have a deposit on both LOL and need to decide soon!) have TONS of fun!
MK was pretty busy today too! I am finding the crowd calendars way off this week.
We woke DD2 from a lot of naps this week, or she missed them completely, but she's two. The best was when they both feel asleep as we enter the world showcase last night and we had an hour of peaceful drinking before dinner in Mwxico. But they were kind of a mess at dinner. We caught illuminations twice this week and really enjoyed the view from UK best.

Lots of people are avoiding Epcot because Soarin' is closed and the Frozen rides aren't open yet. Plus while there is still a lot at Hollywood Studios, I feel like people are just assuming there is nothing to do. Totally floods MK with all these people then. its crazy!

Which is so crazy to me b/c Epcot is my favorite place...it's so much more than Soarin' (even though I love it) and a frozen ride (that doesn't even belong).

Thanks for the tip!
From what I've read MK is just a constant disaster these days regarding crowd. All you can do is rope drop, midday break, come back late.
I mean, there are probably better places if you stake out an hour before, but we watched them from France/Morocco border first night, then just happens to slide in to a good spot next to Rose and Crown last night on our way out and I didn't realize all the images we had missed on our first bight on the globe, so that was way cooler.

More room for me!
Animal kingdom was supposedly a 4 on Friday and it was so busy we left early, even skipped our Dinosaur Fastpass.
I just started planning a quick 4 day/3 night trip with DD1 for this weekend next year. Maybe I should pick a different different weekend!
We are coming back next year a week before this one (annual passes lol). We are loving it but our kids stay out late. The weather is perfect. Both AK and Epcot were very light crowds when we were there today.
I'm trying to decide between 4/28-5/1 and 5/5-5/8. DD1 will be 5.5. She'll probably want the late nights! We have APs too.

We absolutely loved our Animal Kingdom hotel stay in September. My 5 year old was in tears when we left. Our last day we gave the boys the choice of going back to MK one last time or staying at the hotel swimming and checking out the animals. They chose staying at the hotel.

I love the Cinderella picture. It sounds like you are having a great time. We have family going in August and I am actually feeling a bit jealous of them now after hanging around this board.
Double stroller. She has mainly ridden. She is lazy.
I don't think she's lazy lol I think she's smart!!!
Hell, we rented a stroller for our 7yo last fall. I didn't want to listen to him complain about having to walk so much, and we were able to stay out later than if he had walked.
It also helped during the parades - DH and I wanted to watch them, but Will hates characters, so he always put the sun shade down and if he wanted to, could watch out the "window" of that. lol
Re: the one bedroom vs. studio...I agree that the one bedroom is probably amazing. Most of the time it's just way more than I'd like to spend and we deal with the studio. Now that we are 5, all kids over 3 by the next time we go, our options are more limited. I'm thrilled that most of the studios are getting occupancy for 5 when they're refurbed. I was so bummed we had maxed out at beach club. I do wish more 1 bedrooms slept 5, those are super rare it seems.
The huge jump in price, renting dvc, just hasn't seemed worth it to us.
So jealous of the Olaf pic! We were at Hollywood three weeks ago right now and my little boy would have went crazy to meet him. He got to see him at Disney on Ice this weekend but not the same! Great pics!
