Happy Mother's Day

What did everyone do to celebrate? H made a really nice breakfast and is currently making a nice dinner. I ordered myself some new berkinstocks as a gift to myself. We just hung out at home but I clearly did too much around the house bc I'm 12 days PP and I've been gushing blood today. Sorry for the TMI. I has tapered off for a couple days so I know I must have overdone it with chores or something.

We also went to the garden store and got a few little plants for my hanging baskets.

We went camping for the weekend over on marrowstone island. It was so nice and relaxing just about 100 yards from the water. H stepped in and made breakfast this morning and then picked up pizza for dinner after we got home. He also nominate me for a mothers day drawing my hairstylist was having and I ended up winning a 2nd place gift card to her salon. So pretty excited since I seriously NEVER win anything. She even sent me the email H sent in to nominate me and I cried lol. So pretty awesome weekend really and I still have ice cream to eat

Happy Mothers Day! DH's BFF is visiting and he took us out for lunch today. We took the Edmonds ferry over to the Lynwood Buca di Beppos, then let the kids run around the mall after. They napped in the car on the way home, then we relaxed at home. DH took over bedtime while I chatted with his BFF. It was a nice day.

Bkb ended up getting sick so h stayed home with her while I went up to my parents to cook mother's day dinner (h was supposed to do it). What can I say mom to the rescue.
