Will we regret not using FP's at HS?

We can start booking FP's tonight at 11. I have our touring strategy all mapped out but now of course I'm doubting myself.

We have park hoppers. On our first full day (Monday) we are planning on HS in the morning and Epcot after dinner. We have an 8 am Hollywood and Vine reservation. I'm hoping we can eat and book it to Toy Story. Then do single rider Rock and Roller Coaster, see a few shows, and leave. Save our fast passes for Epcot.

Problem is this strategy has never worked. I'm hoping the third track will make the waits better though. Thoughts?

I would still do a FP for Midway Mania, then see what you can get at Epcot after.

Of course FEA may or not be open when we go.

I would do it but you may need to wait up to 45min at TSMM depending how far you get behind the RD crowd, since you'll be held on the other side of the Main Street most likely. I would still do it given your Epcot plans.

Can you book Soarin yet? If not, I would a FP for Toy Story and decide what you want to do as it gets closer. If FEA becomes available I would probably drop Toy Story to get FEA.

Toy Story Mania is still crazy even first thing in the morning. Everyone books it there. Don't be surprised if there is a 30 minute wait even at 9:00 when park opens.

I haven't played around either it but have the recent updates to FP system allow you to book FP at different parks each day? I will love it when they finally do that, because we never get FP for both Test Track and Soarin (we usually do a full day at Epcot and then split a day with MK and Epcot, and use FP at MK). I hate the tier system they use at Epcot and HS.

Definitely use it on Toy Story Mania if you don't want to wait forever. The line was crazy long and I LOVED it!

Ditto. If you want to do MM, you really need a FP. The lines are insane.

Okay. We went ahead and made FP's at HS and will wing it at Epcot. If the third track makes a difference we can always change it.

You can make FPP at multiple parks now.

We had an 8:10 H&V ADR and people were let into the park at 8:40 so we did not have the advantage of getting to rides first, since DD1 wanted to meet all the characters and we had to wait for them all to come around. Took about an hour.

HS usually opens anywhere from 15-30 minutes early. I don't think pre park ADRs are worth it there as much as other parks unless you are ok missing characters at breakfast.

We were able to sign up for Jedi training at 8 am though, before our breakfast.

It seems like they aren't consistent with that unfortunately. Lots of reports on the disboards from the last couple weeks where they haven't allowed it (the occasional report of them allowing it on some mornings though)
