Hello! I'm Coley and I'm 33. I'm a newb and we are just starting down the road of possible IVF. I have a healthy 5 year old and since then I've have had 9 miscarriages that have included one partial molar pregnancy, one ectopic pregnancy, one ovary/Fallopian tube removal, one pregnancy of unknown location and one 23 week abortion due to fetal defects that were not compatible with life. I also have moderate/severe endo.
I met with the IVF specialist yesterday and have had all bloodwork done but one test and my husbands SA but everything is coming back negative. He recommended IVF due to my litany of previous issues. Im a little hesitant because of the cost but not deterred because I know in my heart we are not done yet.
And no complications at all with the first pregnancy. I got a Blood clot with the 23 week loss but that was not the cause of his issues---he had one kidney that was malformed and stopped making amniotic fluid.
Welcome Coley. I'm sorry to hear of everything you've been through. It's been quiet here lately, but hopefully we can get the board revived. Good luck with IVF, if you go that route.
Welcome! So sorry to hear about all your losses. I've had 5 miscarriage in a row. But all of mine seem to be happening around the same time--weeks 6-7, so very early still. I've had all kinds of tests done, and everything is normal. My RE can't even recommend IVF to me. He just thinks it's mostly all bad luck. Good luck!
