Well I ordered a pair of the wide calf ones and hope they fit! I tried the regular width in the store before and they were too small. FX since they are basically half off. Thanks for posting!
Ok, I got my Fryes and they are beautiful BUT I can't seem to get my left foot in the boot. I am used to zip ups. I think the calf circumference is fine, I just seem to get stuck in maneuvering my heel down. I got it down on the right with some effort but can't get my left foot in. Tips? Or am I going to need to return? :-(

Take a plastic grocery bag and slip it on your foot and try to get the boot on then.

You are a GENIUS. It worked! Hopefully they will stretch out a bit and eventually I will get them on without a bag lol. I have straight leg jeans on today and they even fit over that. Woohoo!

The exact same thing happened with mine! Left boot and everything. My husband stretched the heel out some and said the local boot cobbler (is that a thing) told him to pour hot water over it and wear for several hours. I may take it to him to get it stretched out. I was going to send them back but I think I can fix it.
