Mons Belgium

Is anyone near Mons Belgium that can help me out? We just hired someone for a contract job to work in Mons and he's asking about housing.  What are some good neighborhoods he should look at (he is married with 2 young kids).  Also any international schools?  He doesn't want local due to language barrier

I am in Brussels, Belgium. Mons is a beautiful smaller town in the Walloon region (French speaking), but it is rather remote from Brussels (around 60 km) where the international schools are.

I have no idea if there are any English schools around Mons, but I could check. How old are the children? Does he want to live in the country or more in a city environment?
