I hate these posts but I'm going to be a hypocrite and ask anyways.
We are driving to WDW at the beginning of June. We are taking 2 cars and have 5 adults and a 3yo. We plan to split the driving into two days.
So far I have: -bucket full of snacks ***PLEASE REC SOME SNACKS*** -bought a child's travel/lap desk for J for things like snacks, puzzles, iPad, coloring, etc -toddler size travel pillow -blankets -pull-ups (he's potty trained but I think I may put him in one just in case) -games -***PLEASE REC SOME PUZZLES/GAMES/ETC YOUR KID LIKES IN THE CAR*** -iPad -portable DVD player -chargers -extra cups for J -water bottle
What else do I need to bring to keep all our sanity in the car?
I would have an easily accessible barf bag & an easily accessible change of clothes ( jic)
Trash bags
Tylenol, Pepto, Benedryl all in where you can get to it fast
Pipe cleaners. DS loves to twist them into letters and numbers or make little " guys" out of them. He will play with them for a few hours.
Lovey. Make sure he can access his lovey
I also like to buy a few cheap Disney things from the Dollar Tree and wrap them like presents. Then every hour or so I pop out a gift from " Tink" DS has a ball unwrapping it and playing with the new novel toy for a little while.
So far I have: -bucket full of snacks ***PLEASE REC SOME SNACKS*** anything small that he can feed himself, bring fruits and veggies too as sugar + carbs tends to make my kids anxious and want to get OUT of the carseats -bought a child's travel/lap desk for J for things like snacks, puzzles, iPad, coloring, etc -toddler size travel pillow -blankets -pull-ups (he's potty trained but I think I may put him in one just in case) -games -***PLEASE REC SOME PUZZLES/GAMES/ETC YOUR KID LIKES IN THE CAR*** aluminum foil, pipe cleaners, painter's tape, cotton balls all in a wipes container to "build stuff", one of those magnetic drawing things -iPad can you hotspot your phone so he can watch the Disney Jr, etc. apps? -portable DVD player -chargers bring extra chargers -extra cups for J -water bottle
first aid kit - kid's tylenol, motrin, band aids, change of clothes for everyone easily accessible in case of carsick puke. plastic grocery bags or ziploc bags to store potentially puke-covered clothes/stuff

Honestly my kids watch non stop movies, eat snacks and nap the whole way. We do 14 hours on day 1 and 2.5 hours on day 2. I always being toys, books, coloring stuff, etc and it entertains them for all of 10 minutes. I figure they aren't watching any tv for an entire week once we get to Disney so it's fine to watch a lot on the trip there and back. It makes me feel a bit better lol

Remind me, how many hours is the trip? When we did the trip when DS was five, he watched Monsters University and Star Wars about a million times. We also played I spy a ton.
You will be coming from Texas, right? Don't drive through Baton Rouge if you can help it. Last time it took three hours to get through that city and that is apparently the norm since Hurricane Katrina.
That's my only advice. You are brave. That is a long, long drive.
