My flight gets into Orlando at 9:30 am on Wednesday. Obviously, it's unlikely my room at Yacht Club will be ready by the time I get there, so I'm thinking about going straight to MK from the airport. I'll be checking basically everything and will fly with just my purse, dressed ready to go in park-appropriate clothes, so I won't need luggage right away.
I have DME reservations, which will obviously take me to YC since that's where we're staying. The day of, could I just ask the attendant to take a bus to the Contemporary instead and monorail it over to MK directly, or do I have to go to YC and take the bus to MK from there?
If your bus happens to be going to a monorail resort too, you can probably just get off but my guess is it will be BC BWI and YC unless it's a really slow day
They won't just take you to MK. If you have a hopper you can walk through Epcot and hop on the monorail? OR just get an uber from YC to MK ( if you don't feel like waiting a bus)

If you have hoppers I'd do this.
That said, what we've done when we've landed that early (which is often) is get to the beach club, check in, put some stuff in bell services, then eat at beaches & cream. By then it's usually 12. Last time out room was ready, so we got changed into bathing suits & swam (Packed suits in the carry on). Previously we've walked over to Epcot instead.

I read on the Disney Moms Blog that the only place the magic express bus will take you is to the resort. You have to catvh other disney transportation from the resort.
