My mom will be with us visiting for the next couple of weeks.
The end of July, We will be going to Ohio to stay at a family lodge for the weekend and throwing a giant 80th birthday bash for her and my stepdad. The party is at a restaurant, so no cooking, set-up or clean-up. Glad to throw money at that all day long. Their 75th party was an outside party/bbq and about 100 degrees. NOPE, not again.
After the party weekend, we will be in Michigan at our vacation house for two weeks. I'd be counting the minutes except it's been cold and snowing up there. Yuck. I hope the summer is lovely for everyone up there this year. They deserve it.
We want to rent a boat a few times nearby on the lake (we recently moved) and visit nieces that are getting a new house in the Dallas Metroplex. In August it will be so hot and stupidly humid, that I will be hiding in my house.

Glamping is HUGE in Europe.
In June, we're going to Ascot (big time horse racing) and then the following week we're heading to the States to a beach holiday we're hosting for my family for two weeks. In July, we'll be going to an oyster festival (a few hours away) for the weekend. And then in August, my H will be taking diving lessons in Cornwall during a long weekend, and I'll do a few dives to remind myself how to do it.
We'll probably do a few day trips in our new convertible if the weather is nice this summer.
Summer is when I stay in the air conditioned house/studio and enjoy watching the storms come through. We live in FL, so it is too hot, rainy and buggy to do much of anything outdoors.;p
Maybe it's because we've always lived in places without actual seasons, but summer is not a big deal to us. We would rather go places in the fall or spring, which may be a moot point this year since DH just started a new job and can't really take a vacation yet, and we are having an office built and installed in the next month or so our money is tied up in that right now.
That said, we might fly to AZ for a couple of days in August to see my mom and our youngest daughter, who is coming from Japan to see my mom. Yuck! to August though. I may just go to see my mom sooner (before it gets unbearably hot), and skip seeing our daughter this time. She isn't expecting us anyway, since she is really coming to see her grandmother and is staying with a friend from college.

It's not going to be summer here for at least 5 months but I'm hoping more like 6.
In early July, we have a weekend getaway planned to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of when we first met in person. That happens over Federal Election weekend here, so DH is excited at the thought of meeting up with his wonk friends and I'm excited about a weekend at a hotel and a meals I don't have to cook or clean up after.
Then mid-August we're going to be dog sitting while he parents head off on a week's holiday or so.
And I want to clean out our spare room and get shelves for his ads so I can actually use the room rather than carefully stepping around teetering piles of cds.

Full summer before my big surgery in the fall.
Move my Mom in with us. Finish renovations (one trick pony but the dust is consuming me). Adults only Disneyland two times with my younger brother and sister. Staying at a hotel instead of driving so was can have drinks after.
Spa weekend in Arizona. Backyard camping with the nieces and nephews on Fourth of July. Real camping. Vegas. Then a convention.

Off to Boston this weekend for SD college graduation then one more week until DD is out of school. In June we go to Seattle for a few days where DH will have a conference while DD and I go goof off. Mid July leaving for Europe for a month to visit family. DH will be with us for the first two weeks then DD and I will be on our own for 2 weeks. Other than plane tix and the first 5 days with my parents I have nothing else planned yet. Still waiting to hear back from a couple of people before I can really start planning. In between those trips I will be working a bit and having out at the pool a lot

Nothing really planned here as we're in the midst of having a house built. We're staying with my IL's until it's completed (what were we thinking, LOL). I imagine we'll do a bunch of weekend getaways to get some separation.
DH's best friends moved to Dallas two years ago and we still haven't made it down, so I think we might try to do that for a long weekend as well. We'll also do a long weekend in the Dells. We probably need to figure these out and get them booked.
DD graduates from K next month, and we're doing what we're calling a Graduation Vacation right after, heading up to VT. I'm starting to get excited about it. She has a 1-week gap before camp starts, so MIL is coming for the week to hang out with her. God help me.
MMMs are having a GTG in Chicago mid-July, I'm working on airfares and hotels right now.
End of July DH goes to a big event for his hobby, and I'm trying to figure out how much debt to incur to take DD to see my parents. Once we swallow the airfare the rest of the trip is essentially free.
Summer, yay, when it finally gets here to the North East USA!
Many weekends in the 1000 islands on the boat. Headed up Friday midday, most of our favorite haunts are opening this weekend. We have 3 one week adventures planned on the river this summer. Memorial Day weekend my niece gets married in Ohio so long weekend for us, can't wait to see so many family members/friends that will be there! Late July I am taking a solo quick trip to the BVI for an owner meeting. August brings more boating and camping.
I have been walking officially 1 year on June 1, 2016. I am up to 90 miles a month right now. Hoping to take that maximum milage to 100+ in June, July, & August.

That's great on the walking! Congratulations!
Indeed. Summer is when my walking slows down because it's just too hot. Go You!

Going to the outer banks the last week of June. Rented a house with my daughter, son-in-law and his family. I'm so looking forward to it. I haven't been on a real vacation since 2006, when I went to Ireland. All my travel since then has been to NC to visit my daughter, with one trip to CA in 2008 for my son-in-law's college graduation. Between 2 layoffs (one being 22 months) and two weddings, 'real' vacations weren't in my budget.
Hoping to start and finish the renovations I've been planning since I bought this house 2 years ago. Decisions/choices have all been made, and money has been saved. I'm just waiting for my contractor to fit me in his schedule.
Friday afternoon, I fly to Rome to meet up with the BF and we go to Bologna on Saturday afternoon for an Elvis Costello concert. I'm coming back on Sunday.
On 9-10 June, I go to Parma (Italy) for a driver's course on a race track with my best friend.
21-24 July, BF and I are going to Burgundy in France for a birthday party.
End of September, I fly to the US for business and would like to extend the trip with a few days to see friends in Charlotte.
As I missed out on a ski holiday this year, I might go to La Thuile in Italy in December.

This summer I plan to finally hire people to do the work my spouse thought he could do himself. We'll be long dead before he makes a dent. The house is slowly falling apart and while he is talented and meticulous, he is not a construction contractor.
A few long trips in the RV in June and July. We haven't been traveling like we use to do and he is getting restless. It seems more like obligacations than vacations these days. I'm optimistic 2017 we will be better for international travel for us.
