I am really dragging this week, and other than Monday, I don't really have a good excuse. Thank goodness we don't have much in the way of plans this weekend.
Leaving work early to drive mom to pick up her car from the shop. Have a good almost Friday, everybody!
ugh came in to an email from my boss wanting to meet at 4 in Friday. Seriously doesn't bode well. My h is telling me its probably no big deal and logically it shouldn't be but with GAD and my past of being laid off.... it kind of just throws me into a tail spin..Wahhh...

I hope it's a meeting to touch base, @aellasbeth. I always get anxious whenever anyone in the manager-chain above my position wants a meeting with me too.
Meh, I am over this week. I found out that I didn't get the job I was really hoping to get (I interviewed for it last Thursday). I'm pretty bummed out, and in a real funk. I'm going to keep applying around because I don't think I have a promising future with my current company, and I just want to be somewhere secure/relatively happy for 5+ years
I am obviously shopping online this am while at work, but during break so I don't feel terrible. My mom asked me to find briefs for my dad that Costco used to carry... which the only place that sells them is ebay. So, that is weird... buying my dad undies from ebay.
I managed to sleep till 9 Seattle time, yay! I suck at sleeping in and the time change is throwing me for a loop but I feel much better. Thinking of heading out for a run.
We had possibly the best dinner of my life last night. Chefs tasting menu at Nobu. So minion that's my first rec for you if you guys like sushi. Not that it was all sushi. Then we walked around Waikiki for a bit. This really is Hawaiian Vegas. It's fun but probably best suited to a shorter trip like this.
Hoping for better weather today so we can hit the beach without getting rained on!
At the gym then heading to work followed by class. Other than 1 short test next quarter I only have 4 classes left in Nursing school, I can't believe it. I'll miss the last 3 classes but arrive home in time for our graduation. I think the next month is going to fly by, no idea how to finish everything!
This weekend we are heading to Vancouver for our niece's birthdays, I can't believe they are 4! I am excited to hug them on Saturday.

Today is my Friday. I'm helping with a fieldtrip tomorrow. It's outdoors. I'm scared because it's supposed to be wet and cold. And I'm a baby. But I'm glad to be able to participate in at least ONE fieldtrip this year.
Tman is going camping with his boy scout troop again this weekend. I hope the weather isn't super horrible.
Not much else going on with me. I'm feeling pretty low and defeated these days, but not for any real raeson. I'm not loving my job, but it's not awful. I just don't really have anything interesting going on and it's making me a little down.
Haha, my brochure was well received at class last night and feedback was pretty minimal. No one had a CLUE it was a travel brochure for an imaginary place (Stardew Valley - a game) and when I revealed that, teacher thought it was a great idea. It was kind of nice for once being the person that others say "well who wants to have to follow that?!" ^.^ Still don't know what I"m really going to learn from this teacher, which sucks because next term the class I was thinking of taking she's teaching as well so now i want to wait and see if it's offered by someone different another term.
Made poor "keep IK entertained at work" choices today - didn't bring either my sketchbook nor my laptop so I only have crummy office paper to sketch on and of course, I feel like trying to finish a supplemental part of a piece I was working on.
OH! H hired these guys to come work on our yard and I came home to a beatifully mown everything, hedges half done, and one of the beds half-weeded! They're coming back today to finish up. It was pricey but better than the quote from the guys who called 2 hrs after they were supposed to show up on Sunday to say they weren't coming and who then randomly showed up at our house an hour later. ^o) I'm glad he spent the money. I don't have the energy to do all the yard stuff and looking at the mess stresses me out and makes me unhappy but I get real joy out of it when it looks nice.
Hugs madDawg228 I know how disappointing that feeling is spa OHMYGOSHTHOSE ARE SO GREAT!!! I wonder if the octopus in the toilet might be an issue come potty training time? Calcifer is adorable. That Making Up series is cute. AHHHHHHHH you need THIS ONE!! The two best Studio Ghibli characters!! (Ok, also from the only two movies of theirs I've seen, but my two favs) www.impsandmonsters.com/shop/tributesandparodies/2012kodama2-2/
We had J's therapy today and she is making some big strides in the last week which has me sighing some relief. Now to just get through today without the kids going into meltdown mode from being up so early.
@ksta, Haha I know I am like uhhh this kid's room is going to have no theme. That octopus has like 3 in the series like him in the tub with the duck. Idk I might just end up scaring him for life. I like how there is a combination of Spirited Away Totoro and Where the Wild Things are.
There is a place on Everett Mall Way that sells them Boba Kahn so I am going to check it out tomorrow

Dude, over-rated. Rooms don't have to be these overly themed Pinterest/magazine/catalog spread things!

Its true. Poor Aj is currently sleeping in a room thats half storage of kid things, and the rest is leftover things from his sisters. pink sheets, girly lamp. At least the walls are blue (tiffany blue). I never had a theme with the nursery just put in colors I liked for things we needed.

I STILL have a UTI from Saturday. I went to the walk-in where they decided that the anti-biotics weren't working, so the put me on new ones. I'm tired of being in pain from the UTI as well as my kidney stones.
My friend is also in pain from a fucked up back, so we are both on painkillers hanging out at her house and watching Empire.
