He got them back in January at his last eye appointment (along with glasses). He wanted them REALLY bad and was offended when the eye doc said that she thought he was probably too young. But then, guess what, he couldn't get them in his eyes! Ha. So, they have just been sitting in his bathroom all this time. James and I would encourage him to try it - practice makes perfect and all that. Last week, James took Tman to school, and James put them in for him. He still can't/won't do it on his own, but he will let me or James put them in for him. How he can have someone else poke him in the eye, but not do it himself, I don't know.
Anyway, here he is with his contacts in on Friday. I think he's handsome with his glasses on, but I miss his face so bad.

My 36-yr old SIL is the same way with contacts, she can't put them in herself and makes her bf do it for her. lol
I've been wearing contacts since either my Junior or Senior year of HS, and it's still weird to poke my eyes every day, but I prefer not wearing glasses.
