We planned to book AofA, but I didn't realize we'd need a suite to qualify for free dining. I don't want to spend the money on a suite (if we spent that much, I'd prefer to get a room at Wilderness Lodge), so we're now looking at moderates. J will be 18 months and a new walker (he doesn't walk yet at 14 months). Is there a moderate that has a splash pad or a good zero entry pool for young kids? It might be too cold to swim, but I'd like to have the option if the weather is good (going 11/28-12/2).
If the pool is your focus and you want free dining, I'd shoot for Caribbean Beach - honestly, you're going to be limited greatly by which resorts still have free dining availability - I'd look at that then go from there. CBR has a zero entry and kids area

We are staying at Caribbean Beach (over the sames dates as you are looking at) for the zero entry pool and kids splash area (and free dining). None of the other moderates have the zero entry pool, but Port Orleans has a splash area that is zero entry. However, Port Orleans resorts are not included in the free dining promotion.

Can I have your contact info so you can be our travel agent?

We did Caribbean Beach with C when he was a little over 2. He liked the pool a lot (we swam in mid-November since we have thick Midwestern blood, but it was a little chilly once the sun went down) but the transportation was such a huge PITA. The buses were far from our room and slow.
I also liked that at CB, our room had a small fold-out Murphy bed for him to sleep on. We got a PNP from the hotel, but he decided he was not going to sleep in it so we unexpectedly transitioned him to a big bed while on vacation, LOL. It worked out pretty well.
Planning was entirely in H's hands because he is the one who desperately wants to go while I really WANT to go but think we should be saving more money. Caribbean Beach is one we knew had free dining available so he went with that. 11/27-12/2. He has sworn he will get up at 5 am on the 31st to make dining reservations too, and I am holding him to that.
Ironically I told him to pull the trigger finally because we decided to wait until next spring to buy a house since the inventory right now is so low. Five minutes after he booked, a house came on the market, we saw it an hour later, and we made an offer. Oops.
